Ive been to a couple arcades here and there, but only once have I seen an actual Mr. Do machine, and that was at a convention for arcade games. Mr. Do is my favorite arcade game

It's a harder game to find. I don't see it much. They had a hand full of rare games here that I don't normally see. What convention did you see it at?

@@IndieArcadeWave It was the lets play gaming expo, I believe. They had a floor with a whole bunch of different arcade machines, and upstairs had several old consoles

@theskilledfox7394 That's cool. I love the games you see at conventions. You always find rare stuff from people's home collection.

Funny how the owner of Freeplay arcade said in the past they wouldnt put sit down arcade machines on his arcade floor and refused to buy them. He acted like he was too good for them.
Yet now I'm seeing a sit down Cruisn' Blast (and several other popular sit down arcade machines) in the video.
Looks like he didn't follow his own standards. Hypocrisy!
(FYI - I like Sitdown machines and was annoyed at the Freeplay owner holding up his nose at them)

I didn't see him say that. I understand why arcade owners don't have them. I can think of one arcade that doesn't because people set their drinks in the seat and knock them over and spill alcohol all over the seat, and then someone else sits in it. Easy problem to avoid.

@@IndieArcadeWave - He said it a few years ago, but his words always stuck with me because of his dismissive attitude. He made fun of one my favorite arcade cabinets when he said it. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
So it's surprising to see the change in policy. Not only did he allow sit down cabinets, but he went with some of the most modern racing game! Yet he was hyping up 80s and 90s games so much only a short time ago. Very surprising
I guess the pressure of all these new Barcades popping up all over is putting pressure on Freeplay arcade.
The arcades that give customers the games what will be the ones that succeed the most.
I understand what you are saying about drinks. But there are ways to minimize issues. Cidercade in Texas doesn't seem to have any issues with their sitdown machines and drinks.
