Thank you so much! For some reason there's so few clear, direct, and thorough instructional videos on how to set up a rotary machine like this but this was perfectly done, it cleared up all my confusion
Teryn, Thank you so much for this video and the great advice. You explained everything so well and made it very understandable! Definitely one of the best tattoo "training" videos I have ever watched! *SUBSCRIBE* You're awesome!! More tattoo artists should be like you!!
Absolutely fantastic review. As mentioned below by others, you really explained things very well. Especially as a beginner myself it was very easy to understand. Loved it Teryn! Also glad to know that you carry these products, I will be checking them out!
I like these machines because you can change the spring to a soft one and run cartridges or standard needles. I usually Bend the needle the bar close to where the soldering is. But I'm not sure if you have to on these machines.
Hi! Have you used the artdriver f power machine? Would you recommend it? I want to buy mi first machine and I dont know which one to choose. I would love a versatile one.

How many machines do u usually need for tattoing? Planning to buy a quality machines before i do tattoing in a real skin. I’m an aspiring artist here in new zealand. Thanks 😊
Thank you for your great video and explanation. Because of it I bought a bishop v6 and arrived yesterday! I have one question, do you suggest lubing it right out of the box before the first tattoo?
Hello Madam, I am Shankar from India. An avid follower of your videos and facinated by your valuable guidance. I am thankful. I am tattooing professionally for last 6 years and fed-up of using coil machines for long session lining. I have to polish or change the spring or polishing the contact screw now and then. At last, being board, I thought of using a decent rotary tattoo machine for long lining session. Although I have a Cheyenne and Kwadron pen which I use for colouring and sheding only. I do also love to use the common needles along with cartridges. I need to use a machine (for uncut fast lining only) which will be smart for both type of needle, specially common needles. I have two choices for this purpose, 1. Bishop v6 and 2. Stingray/ Dragonfly X2, because these are the only choices I have in the city. Please tell me which one should be my best choice to buy. And please tell me if you have any other choice of machine which is may be better. I will be thankful if you help me.
Love this video! Very helpful! The only thing is, my bishop seems to be changing speeds while I’m working. I can tell by the tone, even though I haven’t changed the settings. Any thoughts? Again, great video. Thanks so much for all the info!
Damn I’ve never used needle on the bar with my v6. Do you run your power supply different between needle bars and cartridges? I just picked up some black claw needles I’d love to try them with my bishop.
I always run a little faster for lining...how fast just depends on the skin and whether you move you hand faster or slower. I run slower for shading and that also depends on whether I'm using a smaller needle like a 7 mag or a big needle like a 22 or bigger mag. The bigger the needle the faster you run because it takes more power to push a big needle.

Came for the review, stayed for the tips. I'll buy that machine soon.

Can you add links to the website you bought those needles and RCA cord !!?
Teryn can you please suggest a speed for a 5rs doing eyeliner in slow circles
I run anywhere 6.8 and 7.1 but it really depends on your hand speed and the thickness of the skin you're working on!

What voltage would you recommend for lining and shading?
I always run a little faster for lining...how fast just depends on the skin and whether you move you hand faster or slower. I run slower for shading and that also depends on whether I'm using a smaller needle like a 7 mag or a big needle like a 22 or bigger mag. Do you use this rotary for regular tattoo work as well, or only cosmetics?
This machine can be used for both. Our artists regularly use this for PMU work but it's also very popular in the body art world!
Can you link the website for the needles and grips
I’m sold
is this a versatile machine?
