    is there a way to make the writing size even and not pen-like? It is really annoying and I can't get rid of that effect. All I want is to write with even thickness with the drawing option. Only managed to fix this by using the smart recognition of forms option. But that will make it hard to write certain letters since it will transform them into circles...

    Hey, a teacher friend of mine put me onto you, great video!
    Only trouble I'm having is that the whiteboard option isn't available on my Zoom app on the iPad. It's not at the bottom when you first go to start a meeting, nor is it in the share list when you;re in a meeting. Don't suppose you have any idea why?

      Thanks so much for watching! Here's a few things you could try:
      1. If you're logged into Zoom through an employer/institution account, they may have intentionally or accidentally disabled whiteboard access.
      Try logging in with a new free account and see if the feature shows up.
      2. Try opening the Zoom App > Settings (Cog Icon) > General Tab > "View More Settings" (at the bottom) > Login > Scroll down to Whiteboard section > "Allow participants to share whiteboard..." > Toggle On.
      3. Lastly, I make sure you're running the most up-to-date software on your iPad and the Zoom app.
      Hope this help!

    Let me suggest, what I have been doing.
    I screen share, connect my Ipad and using either NOTES app or NOTABILITY app(which I prefer using) I start doing my class.
    It avoids me from logging from Ipad. Let me know, if it works!

    Your are truly the BEST!!! Your are articulate, organized, well paced and most appreciated. I must share you with all my Apple tech friends here in The Villages, Florida where we have a very large user group membership. (Tvaug.org)

    Hi there, thanks for the video - it's very useful. Am interested to create a video like yours where it shows both your face and the ipad screen at the same time. Can you kindly advise how that is done? Many thanks in advance!

      Thanks for the feedback! So we film these videos in our training studios, where we are running the video into a Black Magic switcher that lets us have multiple camera and computer inputs. If you're just looking to dip your toes in the water, I'd suggest recording yourself on a camera and recording your ipad screen and then marrying the two in an editing program like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
      Hope that helps!

    Thank you for your very informative video. 3 quick questions: 1.) does the pressure sensitivity of the apple pencil work on the whiteboard for drawing purposes? 2.) can the whiteboard itself be sized so that it only takes up maybe half of the screen allowing one to see the guests simultaneously? 3.) for text, can the iPad virtual keyboard be used instead of actual keyboard? Thanks in advance for your help

      Glad you found the video helpful! To answer your questions:
      1) It should depending on what you re trying to draw.
      2) You can "float" the list of participants on top of the whiteboard when you are using it, which would allow the presenter to see the participants while using the whiteboard.
      3). We will get back to you on this. He is working remote this week, but will be back in studios next week and said he will test the virtual keyboard then.

    Hi very informative and easy to follow. I also want to interact with my students on the one whiteboard eg I write a sentence and then I want the student to correct my sentence on the same whiteboard, or just play interactive naughts and crosses! How do i set up the ipad and how dos the student set up their ipad.
    And can I use the same settings on a WINDOW computer. Thanks.

      That's a great idea! Unfortunately, we haven't experimented with this and can't provide a definitive answer. Maybe this resource can help answer your question: blogs.otago.ac.nz/zoom/how-to-collaborate-on-a-whiteboard/

    When you save what is on whiteboard to photo, would it be motion picture or still picture? Give me a feedback please.

    • @ITProTv
      @ITProTv  3 роки тому

      To my knowledge, it will only be a still photo. To have a motion picture, you'd probably want to screen record.

    Would it be possible...effective...to connect into a zoom meeting twice...once from computer for the regular audio / video connection and a second connection from the iPad for the whiteboard utility...would that give the same effect as your video where you recorded a separate track...my thought is that with two connections into the zoom meeting, I’d be able to see the participants and use the whiteboard???

    • @ITProTv
      @ITProTv  4 роки тому

      Hey Ben! Hypothetically, that would work and seems like a great idea and workaround to the issue. You should be able to be signed in to the same Zoom account on both devices and join the same meeting. You can then use your computer to view all of the participants and then the iPad to use as the whiteboard. If you try it out and its effective, please let us know!

      This is how I teach my math classes and it is very effective. I have an iPad with a pencil but prefer to use a Surface laptop with a pen and OneNote as my "whiteboard" that way everything is saved automatically. On your second device make sure you DO NOT join computer audio otherwise you will get feedback.

    Hi , thanks for your videos. Quick question, I noticed that whyI use the Apple Pencil with whiteboard in zoom it’s not fast as you want when I saw it on another device while sharing my screen. On my screen it’s fast for for the students they will watching slow, what do you think

    • @ITProTv
      @ITProTv  3 роки тому

      That is the natural lag that comes with broadcasting through Zoom. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do to prevent it other than ensuring you and your students are using the fastest available wifi.
