FUN FACT: MRWs movement & dials are the same size & shape of Duros, so you can use them to mod Duro cases. Duro bezels are compatible with Planet Ocean inserts, so you can make any number of color mod variations for about $100 total (I made an orange one)
Just got a box in the mail today...AQS-810W, in same color green with a little orange tossed in....Tough Solar, $35 dollars delivered....my new daily work beater
Cheap and cheerful, i have a few Duros, I won't bother with this one. I wish Casio sorted out the lume on their watches - if they had good lume, i would be happy to pay another £15 for one, so for example a duro with C3 or BGW9 which lasted the night would be awesome for @ £65-70
Part of my reason for getting into watches was my wife complaining that my watches were too big. At the time, I was wearing 43-44mm Citizens. Now that the wife has gotten me down to 38-40mm watches....I'm thinking I should pick up one of these just to fool with her. 😈🤣
It’s important to let her know you aren’t intimidated. But also important to let her know you respect her. $40 for a few giggles is a small price to pay. Also, it can be useful for camping, skiing, snow sledding with it over your/her jacket or strapped on a tent pole or piece of equipment. (Not a good watch, but a serviceable clock on your boat, atv or hanging in your rv.
Thanks for this one, Jody! I was meh on this watch since I already have and love my MRW200H as my gardening/hard-use beater watch (I did put a screen protector on it, and will also on the 210). Until you hit upon its superpower: high-visibility tough/beater. Well, you said (paraphrased) "You can put it on the outside of your ski jacket." EUREKA! The 200 is great and all, very clear and visible. But small. Add some bouncing or other arm movement and its tough to read. Likewise with digital, any vibration and you can't read the thing at all. This 210 is the perfect high-activity, high-damage-risk watch. It doesn't say G-Shock but you know it can take a ton of abuse like all plastic Casios can. And all Casios drastically understate their water resistance so this one has way more than necessary for any activity not taking place at least 500-feet underwater. So if you're in a situation where you're likely to bash your watch hard on something like a tree or rock, or crash so hard that you could rip the watch right off your wrist, and lose it, THIS IS THE WATCH TO WEAR! When it all goes FUBAR, worst-case watchwise is that you're out 25 or so bucks. Otherwise, either you risk a watch that costs several to many many times this one, or you don't wear a watch. Screw both of those scenarios! The 210 gives you Set-And-Forget accuracy, easy reading in all conditions except darkness, and true worry-free use. Buy a dozen, put Aliexpress screen protectors ($4.50 for 15) on them, set them, hand some out to friends, keep a few as spares, and hit the slopes or trails or whatever life-defying activity you choose! 👍🏼
Have you ever reviewed the Casio AE-3000 Worldtimer? All digital, diameter somewhere in the mid 50s, three time zones displayed all the time. a magnified global time zone display, too. I call mine the Manacle. It's great fun. I don't know if they still make them. If so, I'd love to hear your comments.
Have the black-khaki version. It really is a huge watch, but with size comes legibility. Day-date function, 100m WR, quartz accuracy with a price that gives me a peace of mind at my job site… all while allowing one to put spare cash on a nicer dress watch, heck, throw in another dive watch…I cannot ask for more.
LOVE IT. Flippin' outstanding legibility at the best price! If you're not after a specific case shape or dial design, what more do you want? Day + date + time, it's all a watch should be. Perfection from CASIO.
@@matthewclina4162 Cool .I haven't worn mine since the batteries ran out and my local Timsons wanted £100 to replace them lol If u say it's 55 I believe you

I have the MRW 200 and Hydro modded it, the Dial looks awesome now, its a better watch then Duro for the Guys like me, with 6.5 inch wrists & smaller. Btw your GShock Manga 2100 looks awrsome. 👌
@marko1314 yes, slightly, however viewing it from different angles is what improved the most, I can see the dial from what was impossible angles before, also increases water resistance, but this I haven't put to the test. ✌️
I own the panda version...Black with the white dial. It is a big boy. You CAN use 20mm straps but wider straps are better as thin straps make the watch head more bulbous than it already is. It's a fun watch to wear and beat to hell though.
Casio makes a lot of watches--both styles and sheer number each year. Maybe they could drop the manual and just insert a card with a link to the support site?
Too big for my mk1 wrist but l like the easy to read hands - Pity Casio didn't use larger sized hands on the 200 because the ones that are on it are too thin and hard to read.
Those bigger MRs feel like cheap husks on wrist. No idea why. The MRW200 is a much better option and make fun guts swaps for other Casios like MTD and MDV106s.
It looks alright on your wrist. Its beautiful little brother - 200H - with blue dial is the Casio I wear the most (out of my 35+ Casios). I’ll get this one too soon ! 200H and 210H are available just for around $15 here in India.
At first I thought it was just a Green 200 until it's immense size was revealed. I've got a 200 which is great so if you have the wrist size for it why not. A solar 200 would be just about perfect.
In the old days, it was more defendable to buy Seiko watches. Sure they were not well spec'd and the QC was variable but they were cheap. Now they are NOT typically cheap. Maybe I would feel different if I grew up with Seikos ... wait I did, I had a mechanical chrono for YEARS and indeed it was the first watch I actually bought I think ... and I still don't like them today. They can do great dials but then let you down in the bracelets, clasps, price, and QC and I just feel like I get better watches for lower money in the micro brand world. Jody, Vario from Singapore made and I purchased leather straps that are purpose built for these casios. I have swapped out 3 MRH-200’s with these straps. Fyi. Criss
I just bought a Casio watch 😂 I wanted something digital to add in my collection. My choice goes to Casio AE-1500, it's cheap, easily readable, and I love the design. I have this one, the lume is not terrible for a Casio, It's enough to avoid grabbing the phone during a movie, I wish it had at least the 12 to guide you lol
Thanks for the review, Jody! At least in the video it really doesn't look that out of place on your wrist. I'm not going to trade in my Casioak for this model, but one thing I like better is that this one is entirely analog.

Why is it, that Casio can do no evil, with the vast majority of its models of the last 20 years just being HUGE and UGLY, with more spikes than a porcupine, like those st00pid fantasy swords in smoke and novelty shops, that are more dangerous to the carrier, than the one to be turned into a kabob?
