Captured Spider oil painting

This video shows me painting various sections of my newest painting, Captured Spider. I go through the paints and brushes I use for oils and acrylics and discuss briefly the importance of edges and value gradations when creating realism.
Please excuse my voice in the first half, I hadn't spoken much for a few days and the voice box was a bit rusty!
My camera is a Panasonic Lumix G9 and I'm using the RODE Wireless Go + Lavalier mic. Editing was done using Adobe Premiere Pro. Considering I've only been using this equipment for 2 weeks, I'm pretty proud of my first attempt using high-end equipment, but I'm sure I'll improve over time!
I paint on 6mm MDF board primed with acrylic house paint.
