Hi @johnhaverson6313, thanks so much for your comment and positive feedback! Hopefully the video has helped you out a bit. Just had the Bonny out for a ride last night and it's running fantastic. Very happy with the Morgo oil pump which entirely resolved the wet sumping problem. If you haven't already, please subscribe! I'd really appreciate it. Cheers!

Hey @FuriousGriffin, thanks very much! Really appreciate the feedback Buddy! Happy to have the new oil pump installed. Just one or two more jobs to do on the bike before the test ride which will hopefully coincide with our next bit of good weather. Here's hoping :)

You have put the oil pump nuts on wrongly. The taper on the nuts fit into the taper machined on the oil pump body

@briannicholls187 thanks so much for your comment and for pointing out this error. I have updated the description field of this video to highlight the issue and explain that the convex side of the washers and nuts are to face inward on the oil pump. I'll also take the bike apart this weekend to correct that issue as this error on my part needs to be fixed. I really appreciate you taking the time to point this issue out. If you haven't already, please subscribe, and thanks again!

Did you consider fitting the Morgo rotary oil pump or were these long term out of stock at the time?

Hi @p-n, I did consider it but after reading a bunch of the forums there was general consensus in the threads I read that it wasn't necessary unless you were building a race bike or had a custom set-up. The Morgo standard two chamber pump was the recommendation of the the vast majority and I didn't see any posts where someone regreetted their decision. That said, I don't know :) Made this decision purely on the advice and experiences I read in The Triumph Forum and other places. Time will tell :) Thanks Again for the Comment! I really appreciate it!

@@MadTinkermanHi there glad you shopped the mistake, the Morgo oil pump are really good pumps, I’ve had mine 4 years now on my 69 Daytona with no more wet sumps, win-win 👍

Ffs how to destroy your engine ! You shouldn’t use gasket sealer ever ! As a last resort Wellseal and you should prime the oil pump with oil before fitting

Hi @dustybwarf, thanks so much for you comment and the info! The gasket maker I used was anaerobic (not silicone) and just a thin coat. Have used it before on other engines and it works good, and has the added benefit of not gunking up the engine in any way as it only seals under the pressure of two mating surfaces. The oil pump was filled with oil when I installed it, and I was able to see oil returning to the frame tank within about 15 seconds after start up. The Morgo oil pump really works well and chose it based on comments from folks like yourself that have been kind enough to share their knowledge and leave comments and advice. I really appreciate the info, and if you haven't already please subscribe. Thanks Again!
