Hey, I was glad to see this pop up this morning. I haven't heard this yet, or any of their newest work, but they were up in the top 5 for me before I got so sidetracked this past year by that Mexican trio you may have heard of. I agree with your assessment of this song, although I'll have to give a few more listens. On the whole, they are an extremely solid band, and I've really liked all their past work. I think it's easy to fall into formulaic composition within this genre, heroic fantasy tales, or whatever we might call it, but I hope they are able to pull it off and remain fresh. I'll need to go back and find your previous reactions. Overall, they are an excellent band.
According to Federico, an executive at Scarlet records came to them and pointed to a track on one of his favorite Judas Priest albums and said can you do a song like this... Federico said sure why not and they did... I think it's quite catchy and it stays in my mind throughout the day. Even if I haven't listened to the full song in 2 or 3 days I'm thinking what you may consider to be generic is really just paying homage the way the label asked them to do on this one last track... and that is a good political move
I haven't really listened to music from this version of Frozen Crown. Almost a complete new lineup. Not sure about the writing and I'm not sure if they perform in their native language or not.
It's a new lineup except for Federico and Jayde(sp), but I think they are the principal elements of FC anyway. The last album, 1st with new lineup was very good. Everything I've heard from them has always been in English. Possibly one song in Italian.
@@spaceknave I liked a few of their older songs and listened to a couple of vlogs by the new lineup but they haven't been high on my queue. They do seem like fun people as long as Giada can feed her coffee addiction... LOL
About the writing, we can assure you nothing changed since the new stuff has been written and recorded by the same person that wrote and recorded all instruments (except drums) for the 1st and the 2nd album. Cheers!
@@FrozenCrown I have a few of your songs on a Spotify playlist but I have to admit I have generally liked your vlogs more. Except for UA-cam I would not have heard any of your music but I did a lot of surfing during the pandemic and found you.

Did you know that Jade of Frozen Crown sang a song on Nanowar of Steel's last album "Italian Folk Metal"? :D She has a great voice imo. :D

They do not sing in Italian
