Their album, Priates was my favourite album of 2022. It is brilliant! There are 4 videos that they done from the album, all great, Melencholy angel, Legion of the seas, Master the hurricane and Clocks. All great and all have great lyrics! You will enjoy!

Dude, you have no idea about the rabbit hole you're about to fall in here. Believe it or not, VoA has been around since 2002. But due to constant vocalist changes, they haven't been able to hit their true potential...until NOW. Out of their 8 albums, Miss Clémentine Delauney (she's French, and a sweetheart) has only been with them on the last 3. And Michele (pronounced Mick-el-lee) Guaitoli, (Italian) the pirate dude, has only been with them for the last 2 albums. However with this combo, the band has finally found a winning duo. And they know it too. With their latest album, they are getting the well deserved attention that they should have gotten for a least the last 7, 8 years anyway. And it's funny...the band was almost going to shut down for good in 2013, but the drummer, and CEO of Nuclear Blast Records, found Clémentine and was like, "She's it!" And every original band member came back to the band with her at the helm. Because she's a songwriter and is accredited to all the lyrics in the last 3 albums.

I first discovered the band after their 2007 album, "Trinity" which was their 3rd album. And at that time, they were going thru a lot of line-up changes because they couldn't quite get the right formula. They literally had a new female singer for every album. So I quit buying their stuff until this past year. I said back then that they're like a poor man's Nightwish, but I think with this new line-up and a full fledged pirate theme, they might surpass Nightwish.
