With celebrated comedian Taylor Tomlinson at the helm and a panel of guests from the worlds of entertainment, comedy, music and beyond, AFTER MIDNIGHT is a late-night comedy series about what set the internet abuzz that day with a game show feel. AFTER MIDNIGHT airs Monday through Friday, 12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network and streams live on Paramount+.
Between the talkshow segment and now the intro monologue, this show feels more personable. Taylor is a comedian too, afterall. I like where the show is headed. Lets hope it lasts longer than @midnight.
@midnight ran out of topics-if push comes to shove, this iteration can raid its precursor for any topics they’ve failed to cover. And I agree, more than three years would be absolutely wonderful…we’ll see
I was afraid the title was Taylor leaving and looking for a replacement! Glad that was not the case.

I really wish it was only a half hour show. This show's cast is excellent, but if its three people who aren't as funny it can be too long.
Honestly, maybe adding a monologue is part of the way to them hearing you,@@CaptainTedStryker, almost like a compromise because while they're probably not going to make it a half hour show, having a monologue takes around 10 minutes off of a potentially less funny cast
I love how Taylor is slowly becoming more and more comfortable at appearing mildly uncomfortable. She's such an achiever.

Is the monologue longer than before? If so, it is an improvement. This show is awesome and I will be getting Paramount+ again in a month, but the uploads on UA-cam are indispensable. Also, the Pacific ocean OWNS. Just look at it on a globe...all you see is water on one side of the globe it's amazing. It covers more than 30% of the world, but it appears larger than that.

How in the hell do you prove you're legally single? You prove you're married with a marriage certificate but it's not like you have a single certificate otherwise. Are you supposed to request copies of any marriage certificates in your name and then show receipts that there were none? I'm really hung up on this. My mind will not move on.
Not married = single. The government can check if you've ever registered a marriage.
I think the wording was weird. You can't prove a negative - but I'm guessing the app requires proof of driver's license and/or birth certificate, which they then run against their own databases of wedding & divorce documents.
the single certificate is the unopened condom in your wallet that expired in 2012.
You file taxes single, perhaps, rather than married.
In most countries, or at least in Europe, keeping track of population works. There's a national population registry and when someone gets legally married, the national registry gets updated to married. So to prove you are legally single you get a paper certifying you're not married in the system. It's easy. If you move to another country outside of your birth country and you want to marry in your new country, you have to provide a certificate from your previous country that you're not married already. I'm sure it gets more muddled and complicated if you live in many countries during your lifetime, but these are some situations that I know of, that requires a certificate of being legally unmarried.

the comment about the hot bear Sasheer made reminds me of my high school days back in the bad hair days of the 70's, yes I am a freaking boomer. Well any ways a book that was actually studied was called the Bear and it was about a young woman who has a summer psychical fling with a wild bear. Taking the concept of a nature lover to a whole new level. I don't remember any book burners complaining or asking for the book to be banned. How can a book like this be studied in high school you may ask. At that time there was a big emphasis on Canadian Literature, you know Margaret Atwood and the Canadian food guide. So this book was considered a legit book to study due to it's canuck themes. Not sure how that happened ,but as we know a lot of times truth is stranger than fiction.
