The jugaad stand for laptop will kill your MacBook earlier than it should. Get a proper stand with proper airflow below the mac as well. Minimize the surface below that'd be covered or blocked. I've learnt my lesson the hard way.
P. S. - Curved monitor that's less than 29 inches is practically useless. Since you already got it, it's fine. For those who are still looking to buy monitor invest in good IPS panel monitors. Beneficial in the long run. Also go for curved ones only if you are buying more than 29 inches monitor.
