This season is made even more impactful by the fact that it’s all Korra taking a selfless journey to save the Air Nation. She only uses the Avatar state twice. Once to try and solve Republic City’s problem to no avail and once in this finale rage.
I guess korra really does take after Aang, at least in experience. Both had a "enraged" like avatar state against their enemies, only difference is Aang was desperately trying to defeat Ozai to end the war, while Korra is fighting for survival and protecting the air nomads. I think Aang would be proud.
They also had an injury to both forcefully activate and pull them from the avatar state. Azula used lightning to shock Aang and knocked him out of the avatar state and that same injury spot she created activated his avatar state during his fight with Ozai. The poison Zaheer used on Korra forcefully activated the avatar state but started to pull her from it later on in the fight.
@@AMysticLegend I know a lot of people don't like the series, but damn the animation feels so much better and the soundtrack. We can give them that at least. Well not sure by a lot, but a quite few of the minority dislike it. I only disliked the love triangle the rest was fine.
@@Odstboi Yea I didn't like the love triangle either but for a successor to Avatar I feel like it was completely fine besides that. The love triangle could of been handled how Katara's was with Aang and Zuko. I feel like people wanted it to be more like The Last Air Bender and her to be sorta like Aang when the other avatars were shown to have completely different personalities and have done different things.
Korra is tortured and poisoned, put through hell by the Red Lotus. She fought the mercury and even the pain she feels so much (suffering her trauma) when forced into the Avatar State. She felt so very scared…
Fantastic work on this sir! I have been desperately nagging Zuckerman to release the original score of season 3, most especially this song from Korra and Zaheer's epic fight. Maybe one day, but this track ain't a bad supplement.

He’d still clap Korra given the chance, but his focus is dismantling governments and positions of power. Only reason he became “good”. Just wanted another world leader to be punished.

Zaheer was right. Avatar was never meant to be. Its just like Yin and Yang. The evil was never meant to be destroyed. What balance required was both in equal. But what did they do instead? They tied the guy down and tuck a sock in his mouth.
I'm confused now. This is that beautiful. But... I do not know what to say. But it would be nice to create your own soundtrack similar to this one. Jeremy Zuckerman is our inspiration.
