The whole arrangement is pure perfection. The eery bells give you shivers with its creepy and dark assets. The Drums and the Drumsticks give it the martial arts feel it needs since its used in the fighting scenes for the people that are considered the best benders/combatants of the world. The Viola and Violin compliment the other instruments and show the "evil" intentions of the Red Lotus with the rapid succession of notes. But I feel like it would suit a chaotic neutral avatar korra more. Imagine Korra getting kidnapped by the Red Lotus and being teached the elements. Korra opens the spirit portals willingly, harmonic convergence happens and reasons with Vaatu to instead of fighting with Raava join forces with her and establish true natural order. The Air Nation gets reborn, Zaheer gains air bending and with Raava and Vaatu inside her she would gain access to all subbending abilities which would be trained by her red lotus masters.
The Red Lotus puts into perspective how powerful the original team Avatar would be if you were ever to take them on in a fight. They have secret allies everywhere through the Lotus, and mastery over not only the four elements but niché subbending styles that are rare and difficult to counter.
Seeing Tenzin battle with Zaheer was so epic until tenzin was out numbered. I thought the red lotus respected admired the rules of a master vs a master.

Zaheer was right about too much power in too few hands. If it's distributed among as many hands as possible, a small mistake remains small. The bigger the concentration of power, the greater the catastrophe of a mistake, or of evil deeds.
