This is one of those games I'm excited to see speed ran because, despite my Final Fantasy upbringing, I could never get the hang of it. I just got bodied by enemies after awhile and grinding just makes your enemies stronger. So cool to see it broken in half! Excellent run!
I never knew what Hidebehind could be used for, but this really opened my eyes. It makes perfect sense, honestly, but m'dumb, uncreative brain never thought that it had such utility in combos.
Was kinda hoping to see the PC version. SaGa Frontier is one of my favorite games of all time, have finished every quest twice. But I haven't played the remaster.
atlest unlike say live a live you don't have to finish every story in a SaGa game. i don't think i'd ever be able to finish the last ring of riki's with out alot of new game plus grinding.
Remaster's pretty great. Lot of quality-of-life stuff, and a bunch of content that was originally intended to be there, but was cut for various reasons. Tacks on a lot of stuff to the Asellus file and gives you a full new character to play with in the Fuse file, which pulls from every other character. If you like the original, the remaster is probably a worthy purchase.

always nice to see an Asellus run. one of my favorite old-school rpg protags, and her sword is awesome.
Never seen this game before, looks really interesting. Nice run btw

The switch remaster is great. It has lots of quality of life upgrades like faster battles. I love this game its my favorite PS1 RPG.

Why did "Trans Rights" show up on the timer at 3:50? Did I miss something?
I'm not objecting, am just curious
