Good video, both my 2008 pt cruiser window motors had issues. The motor worked fine it was the wire connectors that frayed and disconnected. No wonder those cars catch fire lol
Help! I have a 2005 PT Cruiser Touring Edition. My passenger side window went all the way down, and will not come back up. I checked the other windows and they all still work. I tried to jimmy the little tiny bit of window that is visible, just jostle it a bit, but that did nothing. most of the time, when I hit the button, it makes no noise and the window doesn't move or even try to move, however there were two times that I hit the button while trying to jostle the window, where I actually did hear the motor noise for a brief second, and the window moved about a fraction of a cm, then nothing. I don't know what to do. I live in an apartment complex and I really don't want to leave my car exposed with only a plastic bag covering the open window. I have no money to get this fixed at the moment either. I'm so upset! Can anyone help me? Thank you.
Loverly job :-)) I wished all manufacturers used simple designs like that, some older cars are a bloody nightmare, as ive said before my mates old bmw goes "twang" and the window falls off its mounts, i suppose its worn out but after a clean and re-tweak i get it going again :-)) Ive seen those p.t crusers in the uk, someone was having a joke when they designed the front of the car, bloody ugly lol.

Show thumbnail with 2006-2010 model...video clearly has pre 2006 PT cruiser with different door panel.
Can you do a rear wiper motor removal on that car when you get a chance .
I will put it on my list.
Thank you
Can you just buy the motor only or do u need to buy the regulator with the motor?
Glad there is plenty of room to remove the window regulator and motor. I have a 2001 PT it should be the same if I ever need to do this. Great vid!!

Love the door stop idea. What kind of glue do you like to use to put the weather seal back on?
When possible i like to reuse the stock sealer.
