All the remakes of this song miss the crazy bass of the original. KDL3's tracks were walls of bass at their heart. Remakes get the melody right but nothing else.
Dark matter’s been getting a lot of attention from Hal lately... first Dark Matter Clone with a remix/mashup of the KD2 fights with Dark Matter. And now we have hyper zone 1 returning, both original and remixed, Dark Matter’s battle theme remixed again, AND Gooey. Even Miracle Matter’s theme is back! Makes you think... Very late edit because I just rediscovered this comment: With Void, the true true final boss, and the implications it has on the lore, it really shows how Dark Matter is returning. And I love it.
Some people speculate Void Termina to be a form of Dark Matter, seeing as though he's a being formed from the opposide of the friend hearts. (Never mind the questions that arise as the result of that assumption...)
Vs. Gooey "This normally friendly guy has been corrupted by the Dark Power housed by him. Kirby must defeat his friend to save him...or Gooey will become a truly evil being."
Vs. Gooey EX/Hyper “‘I must exterminate everyone in this world! No… The universe!’ Thought the already lost and corrupted gooey, once he was possessed, it was too late to save him, he already had a *more malicious force controlling him,* he became what he couldn’t become when he was initially created, a *cold, desolate monster* he now has the thirst for *sadness, evil, malice* and of course *hatred”*
I love the idea of having a different song play during the final boss depending on the character ur playing as. Tbh a game’s final boss is one of the reasons I go back and play a game. Tbh I wish there was more reward for re-playing a final boss over and over. I think this is what I was looking for.
Frahd Chikun Under My Control is most likely going to play under Magalor's version of this fight, for when he becomes playable during Wave 3. If you hadn't noticed, there's a pattern to the introduction of the dream friends; King Dedede and Meta Knight represent Kirby's Dreamland and Kirby's Adventure, respectively, Rick and Kind and Coo represent Kirby's Dreamland 2, Marx represents Kirby Superstar, Gooey represents Kirby's Dreamland 3, Adeline (when confirmed) is going to represent Kirby 64: the Crystal Shards, Dark Meta Knight represents Kirby and the Amazing Mirror and Daroach represents Kirby Squeak Squad. That leaves Wave 3 for the final three games before Star Allies: Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby: Planet Robobot. You can guess who'd the representatives of those games are going to be; it's that obvious, if you happen to know the games in question. (Bandanna Waddle Dee represents Waddle Dee kind, in case you're wondering about him; Waddle Dee appear within all Kirby games, so...)
I was hoping they'd use Tenors for the tom sounds since marching percussion has such a unique sounds and tenors fit right into orchestral percussion (in my opinion)
It's a shame Star Allies was such a weak entry. RtDL, Triple, and Robobot were certainly difficult to follow up on but, Allies really just missed the mark despite having so much fanservice built in.
It was weaker in the translation department imo, that's why I found Forgotten Land's translations more straightforward to their original Japanese source material
@@darkraiknight386 I disagree. Just finished the main story section and man, it was definitely weaker than their older counterparts, both in a technical and gameplay aspect. For once, the “gimmick” sections don’t feel as satisfying or rewarding for puzzle solving, like the train, the bridge or the wheel sections. They feel as tacked on as ever, only now you need three other companions you didn’t even want in the beginning. They don’t add anything interesting, just flashy moves and colors, that’s it. The main game also felt shorter than most entries IMO. About 90% in I was just fed up and wanted to see the credits, so I just skipped like 2 extra levels and that’s it. I practically got the rest of the switches and rainbow pieces up until the last two levels and final boss. Having the world map split the levels into 4 hubs, each one bigger than the last to give that sense of world-traveling is great, but that’s it. I haven’t played the Guest Star Allies mode yet but I know its just Meta Knightmare mode, but you can choose anyone to begin with, so that’s it lol. Also, 30 fps is a bit of a letdown. Good thing for Yuzu and modders ay? The only thing that the DLC adds is fan service, and not much. Doesn’t quite fix the issues I mentioned.
@@davidchirinos1366 I don't think it's entirely fair to say that the DLC "only" added fan service. It's just that all of the additions only really affect the extra modes and post-game, with the Story Mode basically being untouched. Despite that, the updates absolutely did improve Star Allies by a fair margin; one of the game's biggest problems was that it didn't have a ton of content, and the content it did have didn't contain much depth. The updates mitigated this issue by simply adding more content and replayability to the game, while also adding more of the depth it was lacking. Alongside the Dream Friends themselves, the updates included an extra incentive to replay Guest Star mode with them, since each newly-added Dream Friend gets some exclusive level design (usually referencing their source game) that takes advantage of their abilities, giving each playthrough its own flavor. Then of course there's Heroes in Another Dimension, a mode not quite like anything else in Kirby at the time, featuring much more complexity and challenge while also taking advantage of the game's mechanics in a way that the base game simply didn't. These additions don't undo everything wrong with Star Allies, but they do make the whole package feel more complete and satisfying. It also helps that the additional content and bosses are really damn good in my opinion. I won't deny that Star Allies is kinda weird in the sense that in practice, it relies much more heavily on the content often viewed as "side content" or "extra" than other Kirby games, simply because the Story Mode isn't much by itself. If you don't care about the other modes, you're likely gonna be pretty unsatisfied with the game, whereas if you do, you'll get a hell of a lot more out of it.
Funny story with this song Whenever I got to morpho knight and this song played. My 83 year old little brother dresses up as morpho knight and starts trying to attack someone or something he always ends up defeating them but when they’re defeated they dress up as morpho knight. It’s like a virus and everyone in my town has the virus. I’m scared that I dress up as morpho knight soon.
Kinda sucks that people don’t care for this version. This is honestly one of my favorite Morpho themes. Maybe the best but still really good
I'd argue about DJ Nightmare, the Zero-Two and Miracle Matter mix and the Sectonia one but I have big biases. This is definitely top 5 for me tho
If ppl didn't care at all for this music they wouldn't be clicking on the video
