#HellsKitchen #HellsKitchenUSA #GordonRamsay
Gordon Ramsay's culinary boot camp moves to the USA as the terrifying world-renowned Head Chef slices and dices a group of wannabe Cordon Bleu cooks and aspiring restaurateurs, to find out who deserves the top prize of their own restaurant. Adapted from the smash hit British series, Hell's Kitchen USA serves up helpings of terror, tears, tantrums and triumphs as cameras follow the competing chefs for every minute of the day.
__________________________________________
In Hell's Kitchen, two teams compete for the prestigious job of head chef at a top restaurant, all under the guidance of world-class fiery chef Gordon Ramsay.
"thank you for being honest, just take your time" people seem to forget that chef Ramsay is a reasonable man. if you give him a proper/valid reason for an issue, he will understand.
but it actually needs to be a good valid reason, and "i didn't go to school because i was too busy working as a child/teen/young adult to help my parents pay the bills" is a 100% valid reason.
It should also be a reminder that this is a TV and that Gordon is supposed to say these types of thigs for entertainment but in real life that young man's story is common and we should assume that everyone had the same benefits we do, and not to take our education for granted.
@@smileygirl622 The things he says isn't inherently for entertainment. The only scripted parts of the shows are planned events like kitchen sabotages which not all cast are aware of and the way he talks is how he actually talks in any similar environment. The services are actually pretty long and the 30-40 minutes of events shown in the published episodes are only a fraction of what actually happens. Not to mention that if the show was scripted, you would likely need to sign a waiver that prevents HK from being sued for any resulting food poisoning, as the restaurant is public/bookable during episodes and customers do get served raw food when something gets by Chef.
@chunkycomet9117 Yup. Gordon Ramsay shows aren't exactly scripted. Producers put stuff in at times, yes, but plenty of the stuff is very genuine
@@chunkycomet9117 hells kitchen is literal boot camp for cooks.

Aww the way Gordon softens up when he discovers Salvatore didn't go to school in his childhood because he had to work there. It really shows his compassionate side.
He was ready to throw an insult until he realized he was serious
You can clearly see Gordon's own flashbacks when Salvatore was being honest with his background. He knew what it feels like to be that low.
Bro I almost started crying
That was touching tbh. Gordon could've roasted him more but he is understanding and compassionate. He knows what it's like going through that life.
Agree completely. He is motivating and wants them to succeed. But the yelling gets ratings. 🔥
The way that Gordon immediately stops himself after Salvatore tells him that he didn’t go to school before coming to Hell’s Kitchen really shows Chef Ramsay’s character. He was very understanding when Salvatore made it clear to him. Props to Gordon for his compassion!
This 🎯 he’s a good person and he motivated them. But that doesn’t sell ads. It was really nice to see him like that. 🔥
He's a good person, a bit vugar but all those are just producers telling him to make it interesting for TV.
I’m glad that product shows that’s he is person with kindness and compassion too sometimes
@@AsianVideoGamerI saw him do an interview and he was asked if he thinks he’s “a bit harsh”. He said “If I was teaching cooks for some chain restaurant, then yes. But I am training them to be Michelin starred chefs.”
Can I get a time stamp lease? I’m trynna find this clip
The narrator throwing shade always gets me💀 "DISGUSTED WITH THE RED TEAM, chef Ramsey turns his attention to-" 😭
this part came as soon as i read this comment!
Love the narrator
11:58 for people wondering where it is
@Eddiedubes thx
I love how Gordon stopped yelling at the dude after finding out he didn't went to school because of family and he just told him to take his time.
I watched so many compilations of hk and for sure would say Gordon is ruthless and crazy disrespectfull but only if he has a good reason for it and mostly thats the case xd
@@ne0395he's just 100% Scottish af, he's like my nana in male form it's funny af😂
for real he immediately course corrected and thanked him for his honesty. He truly is a good man even though he's harsh sometimes.
I think chef Ramsay was expecting Salvatore to say that he did went to school just so Ramsay could rip him apart, he was genuienly shocked about Salvatore's confesion.
Gordon is a good person. He just gets upset when pros make rookie mistakes. It makes for good TV though so it is what gets shown.
Gordon: Why you don't fry chicken hours in advance.
Nilka: Gordon Is sabotaging me!
You call this a FAST FOOD JOINT no way this is gonna be over on and closed red team now running out of time

Oh come on. Who doesn’t like their fried chicken cooked 3 hours before you want it? Can’t beat it when it has the consistency of sawdust 😉
@@Heathen.Deity.what about spaghetti from Josh?
aw man, I felt so bad for Salvatore. He worked because his immigrant family needed him to, and couldn't get the education we all take for granted 😢
And Gordon could kinda relate to him.
Gordon’s response to Maria’s strangeness is so funny. He’s like….. not intentionally 😂😂
Poor salvitorie he was asked one of those Gordon gotcha questions and when the chef actually said “no chef I didn’t go to school I had to work to support my family” Gordon got real quiet because he was surprised that a chef actually didn’t go to school and the bad handwriting was not his fault he was really actually trying his best
@@Invialedwe're all really taking school for granted 😭
@@Invialedschool is definitely not a prison
You learn to write in like kindergarten though.....
True. But your handwriting typically gets better the longer you practice it. And if you have a learning disability, say like Dyslexia, it could be very difficult to write.
Given ages and when these aired, Sal might have been taken out of school as early as ten to help his family. I'm thirty and dyslexic and believe me, I think my handwriting hasn't changed a lick since I was seven. So I have to take my time and make sure I don't go too fast
“If you could get the main course that would be nice 💀 ”
Jason Santos (blue hair) went on to become Sous Chef for Gordon on hells kitchen, and also stars on Bar Rescue

Jason’s the man!!!
Gordon talking with Salvatore is one of my favourite clips from hells kitchen. Gordon didn't have it easy growing up. Gordon is only where he is because he pushed himself
And being lucky with good connections
Also Gordon grew up in native English and in his native culture, in his native town. Salvitore obviously didn't. Learning a second language + having to work to support the family so much harder.
@@emu_warriorGordon did learn French while working in a kitchen though so I think he understands a little more because of that

Tbf with the double order, you’d think the table would tell her that they’ve already ordered. I do that when I eat out and it avoids so much confusion.

ngl I kinda miss these double booking services. but I also understand that its not really practical.
What does it mean acctually?
@@cleowagner1432I think it means having 2 services which start at 2 separate times like this. So double booking as opposed to single booking (one service at one time)

11:05 hahahahaha “So weird” 🤣
Hilarious!!
She IS weird tho 😂
I don't get the double order incident on Table 33. Surely, if my order was already taken, I would have remembered who my server was.
It might have been a circumstance of miscommunication. Or maybe they assumed the ticket was lost and they needed to redo their order. Either way, it's a huge blunder on their part.
Yeah like why would they order again that has to be a fake moment 😭
I wonder if the table would order just to see what would happen. It is a show and I imagine a lot of people just to witness some drama first hand
some people are really socially awkward, i could honestly see myself letting a waiter retake my order
@@deer0skullzwhich would require more social interaction than telling them you've already ordered...

WTH!?😂
Gotta say, Autumn's ''Strategy'' of getting dishes sent back is beyond disgusting. Its disrespectful even to chef ramsay, which freaking owns the place
To be fair the red team did mess up those dishes especially with the raw burgers
Sending back dishes that customers aren’t liking/ dishes that weren’t made right isn’t disrespectful
@@bry238 i agree with you, but the way she said sounded like she was going to push people to return the dishes. At least for me, one thing is to get the feedback and return the dishes but another is trying to actively get dishes sent back. Sure, she wouldnt be able to do this if the dish wasnt bad to begin with, but she states that her goal is to flood the other kitchen, which is disgusting to me

I cried at Salvatore's part! 😭
Watching this gives me every reason to never compete on Hells kitchen
"shes so weird.." lol
I think when Gordon asked Salvatore about his past it triggered him
Working in the kitchen can be mentally demanding and having someone yelling at you doesn't help so I understand that some can have a break up. The most important thing is to work as a team and support each other.
At the same time I feel like by the time you're old enough to be on Hells Kitchen, you're old enough to have learned at some point that you can't handle that level of stress. Nobody forces them to apply, and there's plenty of examples of what competing is like for them to base their expectations on.
Did for 20 years, from the bottom to the top I know how it is I never yeld like that to any of my employees..
@@curtanderson4145Thing is, you’re not working with people in a Michelin star restaurant

@@MrBlink622 I don’t remember the black jacket team all that well (only remember, Holli, Autumn, Jay and Benjamin) but I agree.
What I like about this season that it’s the season where sous chef Andi made her debut.
That Autumn person from the blue team is sabotaging the red team. When she is just supposed to be serving the tables, not convincing the customers that their good is not well done. Hope Autumn gets kicked out of hell's kitchen

Watching this again, I realize Autumn is like the female version of Scott. She did everything she could to sabotage people. I am trying to remember if she sank her own team, but it would surprise me. oh they absolutely do. most of the fine dining places i've worked have had part of the _monthly_ budget set aside for tableware. one series gordon mentions they spend thousands on new non-sticks every season. i wouldn't be surprised if the crockery is replaced for each _show_

Why is an open oven dangerous but smashing plates with no safety glasses on not?
burns can be more severe with possible nerve damage, and an open fire hazard and general safety threat *atleast*. injury from broken playes can be treated easily, and flying shrapnel into the face is unlikely
It’s not that smashing plates isn’t dangerous, but someone tripping over a a hot oven door and getting burns across their entire body is significantly worse than someone potentially getting a tiny bit of plate in their face
