These foreign companies are manufacturing and selling low quality foods in India for decades. India should tighten grip all these type of companies especially foreign ones. Nestle, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, Cadbury, etc are some examples.

I think this should have been done before other countries do the same to us. The purpose of our actions should not be only diplomatic we should have take these measures long ago because its all about our public health urgency.
Likewise, we should also filter products imported especially from china. At least the ones those are already manufactured in India because it's unnecessary to import as local manufacturers have enough stock to provide by. It has become easier for China to dump cheap products in India and that's why our small scale businesses are suffering.

It is a good step to ban unhealthy foods which are not as per INDIAN Quality standard but also we have to make Indian officers follow strict protocol for Indian food outlets and grocery stores who are selling low quality food in unhygienic conditions.
Restaurant reuse the food which not consumed same day leads to food poisoning.
