I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

The Athletic Director that hired him is holding his head up high right now huh? On Brian's first try? First try? Albeit, Alabama is not as good this year as in years past, and they will also lose to Georgia to have three losses this year, but still, LSU has been down for two seasons and he has them beating ALABAMA on his first try?
Georgia is taking over at getting the top recruits and for three years now they have taken some good players that would of otherwise gone to Alabama and that is effecting Alabama and what is a coach without top players? Not sh....This is the start of Alabama not going undefeated anymore because Georgia got the best recruiting class last year and they are on pace to get the best class this year too, Alabama is in trouble. Now, if Michigan ends up in the CFPs again, even more talent is spread around in the future. GO MICHIGAN!!!!

I didn’t go to high school with Joe Burrow but I live 4-5 miles from where he went to school and my high school and his are rivals. I think before Burrow the most exciting thing to happen sports wise is we’ve had some players reach the minors before but nothing close to what Burrow has done. It’s been surreal experiencing that.
know the feeling, my next door neighbor and teammate in high school went on to play for Oklahoma then the Green Bay Packers. Was always rooting for him even tho i hated the packers.

I just don't get it. I mean if you run out of bounds you can't catch a pass or recover a fumble can you? Whole thing was really weird and LSU got zero of the 2-3 close calls that were reviewed.

So I saw the final score before the highlights and I noticed the low scores with almost 4 min left so I was like we about to see a shootout. That was a great game and probably the gutsiest call of the season so far.
This game has always delivered a close and competitive game, it never disappoints. Every year there is something on the line, it has become the must watch rivalry game in college football. LSU and the fans showed up last night what win for the Bayou Bengals
It's always amazing watching Alabama lose. It also feels good knowing that they won't be playing in the college football playoff this year

We can afford to step aside for a couple of seasons. Because your team as well as most schools still have to play catch up and ain't even close to what the tide has done. Especially UGA and LSU

I couldn't watch the entire LSU vs BAMA game but I was able to catch the amazing ending. LSU vs Georgia should be an incredible matchup in the SEC championship! As a alabama fan what a hell of a night that was great job by both teams, LSU putting it all on the line to sacrifice the playsoffs in go for 2 man them boys are some serious!! I can't even be mad right now, alabama just have to suck this one up and go harder next year, what a dogg fight that game was that might have been the best game of the season.
Much respect to yall, Bama is still the standard idgaf what they say about Georgia. But yeah this game was the best game of th me year. Other than MAYBE Georgia and Ohion state. But I think this one was better. Maybe because it's near and dear to me, I'll never forget that night. As great as the 2019 Team was, this win was even more impressive.

Coach Brian Kelly was in my high school class in Danvers, Mass. A quiet kid, a lineman on the team, not a star player, but a big fan of Coach Glatz, who made a big impression on him, a love of the game. Nice to see Brian rise to such heights here. Great idea to go for 2 points at the end. The LSU offense is dependable with that QB.
Thing is LSU was not supposed to do anything this year and they showed everyone different so how good will they be once all the culture is 100% changed and all new recruits are on the team. Good luck to everyone else. God Bless

ND homer here, Kelley is a good coach that makes occasional crazy ass decisions thet usually went south at ND so he looked impulsive. It worked for him here. I appreciate what he did for ND, he legit saved the program but he had clearly hit a wall so I get why he left, and I think Freeman has the charisma to recruit to get himself a statue in South Bend. Kelley leaving for LSU was good for college football as a whole. Thank fucking christ we wont have another Alabama / Clemson playoff.

College atmosphere is so amazing.
Some of these big matchups are unbelievably exhilarating.
In the NCAA it’s do or die and, virtually every week, you’ll find a powerhouse matchup where it feels like a playoff game because… that’s practically what it is - one game, and you could be done. The percentage, alone, on whether a team wins or loses is vividly clear.
And as Ducks fan I’ve witnessed many times what happens when we come up short - especially near the end of the season, because that’s when the AP Poll is at its most potent.
Y’all played a heck of a game.
And Bama has constantly been a force to be reckoned with.
The irony that some may not realize, Saban goes for 2 point conversions on both pre OT TD’s (and fails) and Kelly goes for the last one as a knockout punch.
LSU’s coaches must have a hard time walking with the balls they’re carrying from that OT play!

That was an awesome game! To see such a tight game throughout in Tiger Stadium -- while hosting the Crimson Tide! I give credit to both defenses for keeping the score to a minimum for 3 quarters. Heck, Alabama didn't score until the 2nd quarter -- & didn't make a touchdown until the 4th quarter! I just love seeing Saban frustrated these days. Geaux, Tigers! I don’t see them winning another one especially in the era of NIL and transfer portal I been saying this since 2021 they don’t look hungry anymore other teams that couldn’t recruit great talent before are benefiting a lot from transfer portal and NIL they got good teams and can compete with the elite teams out there. LSU always had insane talent but the 2022 team was not as talented as so many past teams of ours and we still pulled this off.
@@savagetigerfbfan6673 ....Alabama still respresents a direct pipeline to the NFL, they'll definitely lose a few players here or there, but as long as Saban is there, they'll get enough to make a run pretty much every year.
Reason why? Money.
Bama had money before NIL and they still have it. Recruits still look at Bama as the main connection to the league even if they don't win it all.
LSU has had the teams to beat Bama for years, but they never signed a QB that could beat them until Burrow.
That other kid beat them in that 9-6 win, but the powers that be allowed Bama back into the championship game and Bama won that game.
The NIL will definitely have an effect on Bama's recruiting, but they'll remain in the top 5 as long as Saban is there.
Next year remind me not to start drinking until the second quarter! What a roller-coaster what a finish!

It wasn't his first try against Nick Saban. He and Notre Dame were defeated in 2012 by Nick Saban and the Tide.
