So reloop made a scratch tool manufactured it slaps a 250 dollar price tag on it and right out the box the fader is trash and has to be replaced yea I think I'll pass 🤨
A scratch tool with a fader that's completely s**t, and a replacement is pretty much mandatory. That's 300€ for a grey plastic Handytrax with a battery and BT receiver... :D
Could you do the old credit card mod on the stock fader? Still boggles the mind that they wouldn’t give you a tighter cut for a device that is almost exclusively going to be marketed to scratch djs.
I almost think they need a 2.0 already. I don't even skratch hamster but don't recall any skratch oriented product in the last 20 years that doesn't have a hamster switch. How was that overlooked? They also should've made a proper start/stop button opposite the fader and allow you to swap them back and forth depending which side you cut on, instead of a toggle style button above the tone arm. The constant flashing of the Bluetooth button with the bizarre logo I find kind of annoying, but a sharpie can easily fix that. (possible its just more distracting in the video than in person)

I like it. It’s almost the perfect scratch instrument. Two biggest problems: 1- fader it comes with is not very good. 2- the mix between the the record and aux-in/Bluetooth is way off. It’s difficult to hear the beat even cranked to the max.
Yo.. This 30 second install is Bullshit. They fail to mention if you have a model with the serial number RT1904... then your fucked and have to crack it open and switch a plug on the board. Exactly what i wanted to avoid. So check it..
Freddy just FYI, you can set the fader to double cut mode and then simply turn the left adjustment screw until the fader stays open in hampster, that way you don't have to flip the fader over...
Hi. I was going to buy the reloop spin but was wondering if the USB record port can function like the Numark PT01. Meaning you can plug straight to an iPad with an apple camera connection kit and use it like a Digital vinyl system with a mixfader?

I have a JBL Charge 4, speaker, & im trying to figure out how to use it with the Reloop Spin, for both beats, & scratching? I bought both a RCA to AUX. Cable, & also a AUX. to AUX. Cable, as well, but cant seem to figure this ridiculous issue out, lol....bahahaha, I also took your advice, and ordered a Mini Innofader Pro-SP, & installed it myself, & converted the other cross-fader into a volume fader on the right....just wanna get professional advice on this subject, Thanx my ninja, your very appreciated,as always, Respect, & Big Upz!!..... 👍🙏😎
Great video as usual @swiftstyle. Do you have any info on what happens when you put a fader in the other slot as well? I'm sure i read somewhere you can use then use that to balance the output difference between the aux and the record volume? all the best L
I believe that will only be possible with two Innofaders since they have an adjustable slope. Two of the JD faders will only give you two ways to cut. We will test this in a future video since Inno sent me a pair to play with.
Awesome videos Freddy! I'm getting a lot into this scratching culture and I'm planning to buy a portable turntable but my concern is if the reloop spin is compatible to connect with iPad to run with Serato 7" vynils...keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching! You might be able to run the spin into a Serato box and control the dvs that way but it doesn't support it internally. On another note running Serato on an iPad might not be possible just yet but maybe something like a tablet PC could do it. Peace
As is, you won’t be able to run a portable table with a built in fader with any DVS without running a separate mixer/fader - even with a box. Might be able to make a midi fader mod for Traktor but not out of the box from everything I’ve seen and read.

the omni by headache sound seems to be pretty good. It's not out yet though so we'll have to see.
