@@Mojaxx Fair enough, but, I think only a small amount of judgemental, turntablist snobs would be the only one critiquing your scratch demonstrations, those people aren't even worth throwing out a disclaimer for. Was back in the market for a portable turntable, things have come a long way since the original PT-01 back in the day. Got lucky and managed to pick up a new one of these for under £150, which is frankly insane, and enabled me to immediately get the Innofader upgrade too! Thanks for your review videos which helped me find this and make up my mind....can't wait to play with it!

I have a fully modded reloop spin. To make it a professional-level turntable that you can really scratch with and use real equipment with you will invest $600-$700. But then you have a seriously impressive piece of gear that I practice with literally every day. Having a portable will totally change the way you think about scratching, which you will realize is what makes all the difference. I started improving immediately and I could tell something was different about this. Definitely do it but don't cheap out. The spin is better than the pt01 for a multitude of reasons so get this one unless you plan on immediately doing all of the mods
At that price point wouldn't it make more sense to just put the total budget into a professional turntable? Or am I missing something. I'm new to turntables by the way, serious question.
@@lolocaust4967 yes for that price you can certainly get used professional gear that the best scratchers are using. Z2 mixers, vestax turntables, stanton str8-150. Portablism is a niche market for sure. My daily practice is on a numark scratch mixer with reloop rp 7000 mk2's. I bet a smart shopper could rebuild my setup for $800 used
I want to see some proper full direct drive 7 inch tables for home use. An amazing product would be a belt drive 7 inch combined with and Mpc / Ni machine and a loop recorder and mixer controls
Hello! Im looking to buy this one, for scratching of course... Will I be able to use it for scratching out of the box? Would i need some kind of extra needle for it? Anything else to consider buying for it to be ready for use? Thanks!
I heard they ruin your records due to the heavy traction of the cartridge/stylus since its a ceramic. Is the Reloop still worth it? The Numark PT01? Who would sell an upgrade of the tonearm and cartridge? What do you think of the Columbia GP3 from Japan? Thanks. I would really like one for crate digging.
Vinyl transfer in mind here so what’s the usb recording quality with the stock arm & cart ? anyone have a file recorded on the unit so I can check it out ?
Awesome review, but not much on the "tips and tricks" part of the video. I had already seen the other reviews, so I was hoping for some other cool tricks that weren't already obvious or previously reviewed.
I want to buy one I'm going to put a innofader on it cuz it got a lag on the cut for what I heard I still got my vestax handy Trax it look like it the same torn arm just a little different laid out
I want to start learning how to scratch but I don't have the budget for a whole set mixer turntable this looks like a really good option for me you think I will able to learn scratching, some people saying that the Reloop spin and pt01 are toys and sure you can play and make some basic cuts but the motor is not powerful enough and you will not get good torque and won't able to learn all the scratching techniques, what do you think should I really skip and wait till iI will have the money for a decent turntable or it will be good as the first learning Turntable, Originally I planed to buy reloop RP-2000 M but to store owner told me that it's good for DJ but not for the scratching not enough torque. but I really want to get into scratching, so what about the reloop spin It's cheap but originally it was made for scratching so, maybe the RP-2000 will be better for scratching even do it's not strong enough if my two option are SPIN or RP-2000 M?
not sure if it's a good thing or not but i learned to scratch on a pt01 scratch.... i thought I'd never learn to scratch left handed. Now i can't scratch right handed on my controller.
@@ReloopDJcom I ordered one with jddxr fader. Is it true that installing the old fader on one side and you're new one as well it fixes then Volume problem?
Dear Mojaxx, please stop apologizing for "wack scratching", your scratchin' sounds tight to me, great review by the way.
Thanks, but I hang out with DJs who are MUCH better at cutting than me, and it's important people don't think I'm labouring under any illusions!

Yeah I agree, your cuts are nowhere near wack.
i realize it is kind of off topic but does anybody know of a good site to stream newly released movies online ?
@Vincenzo Mario i watch on FlixZone. You can find it on google =)

Bro your “wack scratching" actually sounds pretty dope! Nice review as always 👌🏾
Good gear review Mojax! Especially appreciate the thought you guys put into presentation. The spin turning next to waves on the beach awesome.
Mojaxx, your chirps are on point bruv!!
Great review bro. You just sold me on one of these.
Mojaxx is the Nick Batt of DJ gear.

is this portable turntable capable of running DVS? Specifically with just an iphone and cables? (and external fader)
Who else thought Mojaxx was on a green screen for a few seconds before realizing he was actually at the beach?!
I am very tempted to add this next to my Mpc live 🤔 decisions….

I love the review!!

Can I upload a sampel and scratch with it? Like a digital turntable.
Hahaha, hello from Ostrava (CZ). I hope you liked Prague. Just bought Rane 72 + Twelves and now looking for this when I travel to Viet Nam
i know these are portable fun type machines but i would buy one in a heartbeat if it had a direct drive motor
You should have tried the crab scratch....!
Ashamed to say it took me a minute to get that 😂
At least you're up to scratch now....!

Pasik engine drive? And what kind of pickup needles will suit it. Thank you for the answer) .Peace.
Does anyone know if you can have your Bluetooth headphones connected and have your phone connected with Bluetooth at the same time?
I wonder if someone could just create a cheap fader plate replacement in order to fix the cross fader issue.
Yo Mojaxxx is the reloop spin compatible with iPad? Great video!
Yes, the Ipad can be connected with the SPin via Bluetooth.

so this only takes mini vinyl? hmmm
Is this still worth purchasing?
If you need to play 12 inch 33's then Yes, but if you only want to scratch 45's, get the Stanton STX
@@djlucasd I’m hearing there are issue with the stx. Im going to look more into them.
I manage to adjust the cutting on the original croasfader
how?
I cut a piece of plastic and I glue it on the fader and now I have sharp cut like 0.2mm
It does some strange things when the battery are low. It's only mine?
Very nice
is it possible to change needle on Shure m44-7 ?
Great question I need to know
Can it connect to external Bluetooth speaker?
I am wondering the same thing.. watched review twice now hoping to hear that it does.. please someone does it have Bluetooth output ?
Yeah, i read that you can connect with a normal Bluetooth boombox! I get mine tomorrow! Then I can give you the answer! 🔥
@@sheeshburrundscurr2126 did it connect to a bluetooth speaker?

I thought the QFO was the original portable scratch table.
3 years on, does anyone produce a portable turntable with a direct drive for a reasonable price?
So wait. It won’t connect to Bluetooth speaker?
the battery choice was odd

It’s belt drive?!? Really? Wooow
These things are super cool, but I don't understand who these are for and why anybody would need to buy one
These are made for Scratch DJs who want to scratch anywhere.
