Poison Ivy one of Drew's best movies and this made Drew Berrymore into a huge star and she was in ET, and she did a lot of acting but then she disappeared and then she started at the bottom and worked her way to the top and now she is successful and she has her own Hollywood Walk Of Fame and a Golden Globe. I hope she wins an Oscar. I haven't seen Drew in much lately! She is a mother of two daughters. I also liked Drew Berrymore in The Wedding Singer, Blended, Never Been Kissed, Ever After A Cinderella Story, Firestarter, I hope she makes a huge comeback.
@AngelSimone, she has a new TV show called the Santa Clarita Diet that has been out for some time now. I’ve been watching it on Netflix. She’s super funny in it and does s great job. I like her in it it a lot. I think she’s been working on some other acting projects as well but that’s her most recent work I’m familiar with. You should check it out sometime. It’s on Netflix and is really good. I think you would enjoy it.
Also helps too that she’s fr. One of the “Hollywood Dynasty” Families The Barrymore’s go back to the Silent Film era ( Don’t think her mom acted much though ?? ) just lived off of Family money ... Until her daughter Drew started acting Drew was a great child actor BUT fell into a lot of the Child actor rabbit holes ... her mom used to take her to bars to celebrate a successful movie ( you could do that back in the old Hollywood days up to the 90s ) she’s sneak drinks fr. People’s beers & some people would just offer her stuff too Was in and out of rehab though out most of her teen years until it finally kicked in and she was sober Love Drew and have always been a fan of her and her movies ( feel free to correct any wrong info ) 😊😊
Like FEAR was with Mark Wahlberg. (Actually FEAR was far scarier, but I miss This era of movies too) Some teenage girls are terrifying! The hormones alone. So glad I’ll never have to do that part again!
Sad that Hollywood exploited Drew Barrymore at such a young age. She was literally the "Lolita girl" type-cast in cheap, lower-budget b-movie thrillers. And, yes, I enjoyed every fucking minute of it.
