How the Nintendo Switch can Dominate in 2017

- The Nintendo Switch is launching in March 2017, and I've devised a 4 step plan for a successful console launch. If Nintendo can manage to pull off anything close to my plan, the Switch will be a hit.

Easier said than done, but yes i agree.
Honestly im expecting Zelda, 3D Mario, Smash Port, Mariokart Port and Splatoon Port all to be released day 1. Then every 2 months we get another quality nintendo game. In May we could maybe get a new F-Zero. Then in July a new Animal Crossing. September would be a new Fire Emblem game. Then capping off the year in November we get a Pokemon game.
The first 6 months after release and before the new xbox is nintendos time to shine. There goal isn't to make money. They need to get there system and there best games into peoples hands as fast as possible. They haven't been releasing anything really for the Wii U for 2016 other then paper mario and starfox. So they gotta have games up their sleeves.
I agree! So many of nintendo's most famous studios (Like the team behind Mario Galaxy as well as Retro Studios) have been quiet for a long time. I expect there to be quite a few new games to be excited about in 2017.
No way are they going to try and replace their handhelds with hybrids. Parents won't shell out $300 for their 10 year old to play Pokemon and eventually break the thing anyway.
You make a strong point, though current New 3DS XL models retail for $199, they also have the cheaper 2DS to fall back on for families with multiple children. We really don't know if they plan on making any "portable" games for the system, since they haven't hinted at any, and claim a 3DS successor is in the works. My personal opinion? If they put games like "Mario Run" on smartphones, and games like the next "3D Super Mario" title on the Switch, will they really have room to support a 3rd device? Maybe they can, maybe they can't. Anyways, appreciate your take on the theory.
