looks really good! reminds me a little of MGS1, so maybe you can sneak up and choke an enemy out as a mechanic? maybe have them react to the core being turned off?

Cool ass game
Amnesia had a mechanic where looking at the monster actually hurts you which adds even more anxiety since you can't get a good look at what's hunting you. I really wish more games would do stuff like this. Simply making the player get scared of reverting to a checkpoint loses its effect after a while. To fit the the fps theme you could copy resident evil where you can shoot zombies to disable them but then have one main baddie that is immune to weapons like nemisis or mr x.
that would be freaky. i want to invoke a feeling of losing control of the situation, i think not being able to kill something like that would do the trick

Those white visible seams in the character model can be fixed by extending the textures
If you have white space on your texture, replace that with the same colour as the pixels around it
(what I do is get rid of the white part in GIMP, duplicate the layer and use median blur on the bottom one to basically fill up all the white space)

Really good video overall, you clearly have a lot of potential and a great voice for these kind of videos
Would recommend cutting out the gaps between sentences since that can really help speed up the pace of the video without sounding like you're talking too quickly.
Miziziziz made a video about how to make interesting devlogs that might be worth a watch, he explains several ways to make these types of videos more engaging

You vid got stolen by an AI content farm. Channel name is MrShiftar (@Mrapv). He just replaced the voiceover with an AI voice and didnt even bother with the video editing or the title, even the email at the end is the same

@@dankdglas Never faced this issue personally, just wanted to notify you. You should be able to file a copyright claim either from youtube studio or by making a report on the video itself. Simply asking the reuploader to remove the video might work too, but I doubt people like that would listen until they get in legal trouble
