Everyone just want peace. There are pros and cons everywhere. See the world and make a judgement for yourself. Try looking at the positives and things might actually look brighter. I think those people were western media's journalist who creates many fake account attacking and demonizing China to be a bad country as it was done mostly in majority of the western media. Ordinary people would not spend most of their times to be silly person by trolling everywhere Chinese except journalists who were paid to do that. Don't forget about how Daniel Dumbrill, Nathan Rich, and Barrett were attacked openly by those journalists in many articles.
Respect to both of you. Agreed, no country is perfect and racism is everywhere. Each country has their own rules and culture, respect each other's and stop hatred.

But the fact is, racism is much worse in the West than in Asia! The white Caucasians are still stuck in their Colonial past, thinking they are the slavemasters! Pathetic!
When you say that you hope Africa and other developing countries can learn from China's experience and become better, I am glad that you not only enjoy traveling, but also have truly learned a lot of experience. Perhaps these experiences can help your country. I hope that regions such as Africa, the Middle East, and South America can all achieve development. As a Chinese, I hope that all developing countries can have safety, high-speed railways, and people's income can increase, leading to better quality of life. I think most Chinese people hope that all developing countries can grow together with us and are willing to share their experience and technology with these countries. Because in China, in our culture, we do not rely on hegemony, and we do not like colonization. Because 5000 years of experience have taught us that colonization will only cause resistance from all countries, and in the short term, it will bring you huge income. However, in the long run, this will seriously affect your credibility and be excluded by people. So we are eager to drive the growth of other developing countries together. Of course, due to the population, land area, and local environment, many developing countries may not be able to reach the size and level of development of China. But better development means they have good living conditions, so they have surplus income to purchase products from China, which will also allow China to receive a certain amount of income. As a friendly partner, China, a huge country, can import products from other countries or regions, and local people can also earn a lot of money. So this is a win-win situation, we can all benefit from it, and it is a sustainable and virtuous cycle.
Thank you so much for your wonderful insights and encouragement. It’s not an easy process but I strongly believe that someday everything I am learning will be put to good use. Thank you for your open mind!

The CCP of China is doing what any responsible govt. should do , which is to look after the interests of its people first such as lifting more than 800 million of its population out of poverty in less than 30 yrs, raising the living stds of its citizens by providing better educational opportunities for skills training, employment opportunities from both domestic & foreign investments, building better infrastructures for transportation & improve better foreign relations. The question here is , what have those govts . with its democratic institutions, done so far to improve their people’s livelihood, build better infrastructures to replace older ones, improve schooling & social housing etc, todate. ?Instead some of these advanced countries are more engaged with aggressive policies of interfering or instigating foreign govts. to pursue hostility towards their neighbors. ! I'm Malaysian, worked and lived in China for over 20 years, and the only time when I encountered a bit of fear was when US bombed the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade. A group of American friends and I went for food and drinking around the Embassy district in Shanghai and heard about the bombing on the pub TV. Then when we came out of the pub, saw a huge mass of Chinese outside the American Consulate. Realising we were standing out amongst what we realised could be very hostile crowd, my friends agreed to say they are Germans and French since they could speak a spattering of the language, and I started talking loudly so they could hear I'm not Chinese national. We got back to our hotel, and my American friends stayed in for the next few days while the frenzy died down. Beyond that there were never any incidents of so-called racism living in China. I love China, and have only good things to say about the people and even the government! 😊😊😊
Good to see foreigners appreciating China for what it is.Basic bio - I'm an Indian, wifey Chinese little one 8 year old Kiwi girl. Planning a trip on G315 from xining to kashgar. Any advice will be appreciated if anyone knows the route and see the comment. Thanks
That’s great! Glad you’re having a similar experience like us too. Oh Kashgar! Go for it man. Kashgar is a fun and exciting place. Make sure you visit the tea house at the ancient city and the Muslim market in the outskirts of the town. It’ll be real fun! 😊
Your video is great and I think people who don’t believe should have a trip to visit and see the true world, you will find the truth.all of the world have both good people and bad people that we should ignore the bad guys then enjoy the beautiful life. At last thanks for your video 🎉🎉❤❤
China is not consist of immigrants, most of Chinese people have not seen a foreigner in their whole life, especially in small cities, so it is not surprised if a kid asks why you are black or why you are white...I bet you will be curious as well when you see something you never seen before. But as a Chinese guy, I can tell you... racism exsist in China, not for foreigner only, also for people from different provinces, but for sure... Chinese people will never attack you because of your race or color.
I'll wait for the day that we don't have to see such videos to explain this to the ignorant people and with such title. I really hope most people have travelled to China to go and see everything for themselves. My first trip to Shenzhen in 2000 was an adventure, I can't recognise it anymore at present. My first trip to Shanghai in 2005 I thought this metropolitan city was already extraordinary, but still it had to go through some growing pains of development. I have seen the changes from 2009, 2011 to 2018, 2019, 2020 until 2023. It's awesome. It would help a great deal if visum requirements would be continued to be loosened up for more and more countries, to remove this hurdle first and foremost.
18:35 here’s a personal advice from me to everyone. Don’t try to understand any (other) countries in world through the political lens of your own country’s govt, media or the so called pundits, experts etc etc. often times the travel vlog from people that doesn’t anything to do with politics is more realistic than the so called NEWS. And truly open minded people are the ones that willing to see and experience the difference between different cultures from different parts of the world. Being a open minded person means that you should understand that people from different places( villages, towns, cities, regions) of different countries can have their own unique local culture and customs, and you are there to see it, feel it and experience it and hope to understand it in person throughout your travels. Not saying that you have to try/do everything that the locals do, but at least seeing and learning it would help you to understand it and getting rid of yours or anyone’s stereotypical views of others. ✌️out 18:35
Thank you to both of you guys for opening up our views n horizons about China....China got her pros n cons but generally China is much better than many countries including US n Europe, Aussie n Canada....at least China is much safer n cheaper n more exciting...❤❤👍👍👍
Like you, I moved to USA, 50 years ago. I do agree what you said.generally people are good but every Forest have snakes. Generally people can adopt to different environments. Thanks guy for sharing your life experiences.
Thank you both for doing this. As a Chinese living in the USA for 15 years, I have never experienced any unfriendly Americans. Not even once. Maybe it's because I live in a small town in New England. Americans are friendly and welcoming. I am a professor in a university, and none of my students ever complained about my accent.
It was great to see the motivation to utilize the knowledge learned in China then transfer back to home countries. In general, i feel China did similar things, they learned from the Europe and USA, USSR (long time ago), and adapted and developed China to the level of today. And now China has the ability to serve as a model for other countries as well.
Fantastic so much freedom, truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. We will be able to tell the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan and Uyghur refugees that they can return home without fear of being imprisoned and reeducated. Falun Gong practitioners are saved. Thanks to ccp. Thank you.
twelve years ago in China, you have no idea how easy it could be to start and succeed in any business at that time.😢hate that the golden time already gone
I am thinking to move to China. But when you mentioned cultural revolution and stuff. I think China had changed so much. Is youtube happening now in China?
you have to use a vpn to access youtube and some Internet services. The price is not much maybe 20 dorlars per year but you may need some help to get started.
YT will not be in China unless they agree to oblige to Chinese Internet rules and regulations. Google, FB and the like want to make their own rules in another country. Go figure.
It comes about as a result of UA-cam not choosing to comply with Chinese laws in order to officially operate within in China. TikTok accepted the terms of America's laws, which is why they have to store their database for American users in America and why Congress can subpoena TikTok's CEO.
The majority of the Chinese people move in one direction for progress which is steered by the govt (with the people’s trust). I think it’s difficult to create the same mindset in the US now. 😅
The only bad experience I had I china was this time at a restaurant where I really did not know what I was ordering.. it was my very first experience with hot pot.. it was amazing, but it was wayyyyy to spicy for me! The server was so nice showing me how to cook it and the recommendations, I couldn’t turn it away so I suffered and laughed at the same time all in silence 😅 very tasty but too spicy! 🌶️
I'm really curious how do all the foreigners survived in china, because it's really hard to get a job in china without really high education and even if you do have very high education degree you only get paid 3000 Chinese dollars a month and you're likely to get fired after the age of 30 years old
You must pick a safe country to do your exploration of living abroad for not being mugged, kidnapped,or gun down.China definitely is a country to be a top pick to go. Thank you for your great video.

I mean one case of serious racism in 12 years is not bad. I lived in Australia for almost 20 years, love the country, I consider myself Australian now with proud Chinese history, lot of people say Australia is a very racist country toward asians, I would say I experienced maybe like 5 serious racist people in 20 years, and I speak good English. I think this number is way higher if you don’t speak any English or older Asian immigrant, and also I’m a pretty confident Asian dude, so I never feel threatened in any way, but it’s definitely not safe for any woman to go out at night in Australia. In China you will feel very safe, safety is definitely better in China.

You see we cannot have advice technology because our is free enterprise nation.Just give you and example,if the government insist on putting fast train in the nation the independent vehicle manufacturing will be in a uproar and the politicians will loose because of "VOTES"
If we compare democracy and communism which one is more advanced we should put India and China on the table, probably no brainer can tell which one do better!!
It depends on if you doing just soft topics on social media or doing (critical) journalism on political topics. China is a dictatorship by its own definition. But thank you very much for your perspectives and content!
But the important thing is not whether they are communists or not, or dictators or not. The important thing is whether they are doing good things for the people and for the country or not. The problem is the Western media is clearly DELIBERATELY creating fear and hatred against China. And Western journalism cannot tolerate peaceful voices.
Have you been on instagram or fb lately? You can’t voice any topics that goes against popular opinion, any information the government doesn’t agree with will get you blocked from your account. Which rock have you been living under 😂 In this day and age where most people get their information is on social media this is as good as a dictatorship and they’re all owned by US company which have to comply to so call US fact checkers. You’re living under a dictatorship and don’t even realise it.

The truth is that he has a higher living standard due to being a foreigner than he would have at home. He accepts living in a totalitarian country in return for certain benefits. If he has a partner he/she is more attractive than the one he would have at home. If he has qualifications they are more regarded or lack of qualifications are overlooked. In short life is easier. The life and pressure on the ordinary Chinese person is different.

My pleasure. Thanks for your honest feedback too 🙏🏾😊
Eric is soo real

Thanks guy for sharing your life experiences.

every country is similar,I'm in France, most people are kind, but some are strange attitude😂it's oky, most people are kind with me.
Wish you two can achieve your dreams! You are so inspiring❤
Thank you so much! You too!🙏🏾😊
It was great to see the motivation to utilize the knowledge learned in China then transfer back to home countries.
In general, i feel China did similar things, they learned from the Europe and USA, USSR (long time ago), and adapted and developed China to the level of today.
And now China has the ability to serve as a model for other countries as well.

👍👍👍
Thank you for your great video.
good conversation
Thank you so much!🙏🏾😊
Did Xingjiang (7 years ago) have checkpoints at every street corner like Palestine?
And it takes UA-camrs to make peace. There are just some that are uneducated about the real real world. Fear may have gotten to them. What they don’t realize is common sense. Everyone just want peace. There are pros and cons everywhere. See the world and make a judgement for yourself. Try looking at the positives and things might actually look brighter. There is a place that fits better for one or the other. That is all.
He's the Nio guy. I've seen a couple of his videos. Bro, stop cutting him off. He was about to tell his story about Xinjiang and you kept talking over him.
I didn't know pizza and hamburgers were American! Wow, i never knew. 😮
Thank you very much for this talk but i must say the Chinese sub (by google translation maybe) is a disaster. i have to try my best to ignore that lol
Thank you so much for watching. Sorry about the subtitle issue. It can be hard translating the whole clip. The translations are mainly for reference. Thanks for your feedback🙏🏾😊

yeah it is true 35-40 years ago Chinese people very much poor no bullshit !
If we compare democracy and communism which one is more advanced we should put India and China on the table, probably no brainer can tell which one do better!!
How much money the government gave you
It depends on if you doing just soft topics on social media or doing (critical) journalism on political topics.
Which rock have you been living under 😂
In this day and age where most people get their information is on social media this is as good as a dictatorship and they’re all owned by US company which have to comply to so call US fact checkers. You’re living under a dictatorship and don’t even realise it.
Willie, don’t be too leading

The truth is that he has a higher living standard due to being a foreigner than he would have at home. He accepts living in a totalitarian country in return for certain benefits. If he has a partner he/she is more attractive than the one he would have at home. If he has qualifications they are more regarded or lack of qualifications are overlooked. In short life is easier. The life and pressure on the ordinary Chinese person is different.
So are you from China? Or ever been there? Or are you just making a completely biased based opinion. Life as a foreginer in any country doesnt just propel you to higher status.
