Pro tips for buffets: arrive mid afternoon, half an hour before the lunch buffet closes (so you pay the cheaper lunch price). Eat a little, something light. Then, when the dinner buffet food has been set up, take a leisurely walk along the entire line. Finally get a plate and try the most appealing dishes. Avoid the carbs that fill you up fast.
That's what I did at this Wynn buffet a few years ago. By accident. The line was so long that it was the last part of lunch by time I was seated. So then dinner started and I got crab legs.
That plan used to work, but very few buffets are open for dinner now.
The dishes looked so much more approachable and yummier than the outrageously fancy buffets! I loved the way Allison styled her hair throughout the video too! So pretty! What a fun adventure 💗
Yes, tried that buffet on our last Vegas trip. 100% recommend. Everything tastes so fresh and delicious! Totally worth the price.

That’s insane. I’ve never been to a buffet with a time limit, it adds an element of stress that doesn’t work with relaxing, eating, digestion or vacation. Constantly looking at your watches, BIG NO! For $67 bux alone for food, that’s ludicrous as buffets do not give primo quality like a restaurant where you pay a-la carte or per meal etc. Bogusness. What’s this world coming to.

We need to stop paying for and putting up with sub-par junk, services, giving our money to them. They will continue to take and restrict until people say no more. Thanks for sharing the info!

I had the breakfast buffet at the Wynn 4 or 5 years ago, it was a great experience. I think they were charging $27 at that time.

One of the best buffets I’ve ever eaten at was at The Isle of Capri Casino in Shreveport, LA. The chef was awesome!! And being diabetic it’s hard finding sugar free desserts. The blackberry pie was out of this world!!

$65??!!! As an old timer, I can remember when the best buffets in Vegas were only 99 cents! And that was at Caesar's Palace.

I’ve never been but some of this makes me want to visit.
If you've never been to Arizona/Utah, there's so many gems... First I would avoid the usual awfully crowded areas like Antelope Canyon, Lake Powell, Angel's Landing... Not worth it. In Zion, I recommend Observation Point, much higher than Angel's Landing, much less dangerous, and more varied. Bryce canyon is a must of course, as well as Arches. But if you got time to explore, Canyonlands is amazing... Especially The Needles section for hikers. Island in the Sky is more for instagrammers, so it's crowded... Capitol Reef is often underestimated, but gorgeous. So many secret canyons, short hikes... It's a bit of a weird park layout, coz a big road cuts it in half, but still worth it. As a little gem, I loved camping in Gobling Valley state park, between Capitol Reef and Arches. The rock formations are amazing. And if you're in Bryce Canyon, you can stay nearby at kodachrome state park for a much quieter experience. Dunno if they take big RVs though.
Most casino walkways are designed to make you walk in circles to keep you in longer.

Everything looks delicious, all the meats and desserts and everything. But for me to star would have been the crab legs. I wanted to see you eat the Alaskan snow crab legs with melted butter and fresh lemon. That's the way to go. But it was a beautiful buffet and everything did look delicious. 👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻

Each of those Buffets that you mentioned are great. If you Visit Vegas again try Wicked Spoon. There selection is more eclectic. But The Bacchanal is my favorite 😋

When you showed the pork belly mac and cheese, I literally grabbed my husband's arm because holy smokes that looked incredible. Have a fun road trip! If you're going through the Tahoe area (CA/NV), we definitely have suggestions and can get you guys the hook up on some mountain activities! In the meantime, enjoy all the beautiful nature in Utah!

I'd need to go to a vegetarian restaurant. If one like veggies: fast dinner. Chop onion, whatever veggies you like, tomatos, olives, and throw in pizza sauce. Throw mozzarella and Parmigiano on top. Heat up, lid on top. Fetch your fave bread, and eat. A real hearty meal. Whereas pizza is bread with sauce most, ratio off. You'll think you went to fancy restaurant.
I got food poisoning twice from the shrimp at the buffets in Vegas.. I'm skeerd of Vegas buffets anymore. Skeeredddd😵💫😅 no kidding

Curious... have you tried the Bacchanal?
I liked the Wynn buffet, I'll go back if I happen to be close to it even, but nothing quite compares to the Bacchanal.
(Also pro tip for people who want to go to the Wynn buffet last minute... check if you can make last minute reservations for free on your phone rather than waiting in the non reservation line)
P.S. IMO the Wicked Spoon at the Cosmo is similar to the Wynn level but which you like more will depend on specific personal preferences.
We have been to the Bacchanal. It's delicious! But it was a lot busier then the Wynn so it got a bit overwhelming. That was pre-covid, though, so maybe it'd be a bit more chill these days... Obviously we'll have to go back and try it again 😁
Next time you guys run into Walmart look for small size electric bicycles
Id have eaten crab legs till it came outta my ears. That was the most expensive item I saw .
The crab legs was the best thing on the buffet but they are not really crab leg eaters, the other couple is.
I would go there in a minute even though I would never get my money's worth anymore. I could pig out on seafood and desserts alone.
