Hey Motodians, is the Ninebot ES3 the scooter you will buy, why?
No, doesn't have money
of course I would buy Bec good scooter and from Costco and u don't fell like your wasting your money Bec u could return it when you want
Costco has great Return if not satisfied. I just bought a 2nd one for camping.
Hey i have the es3 for almost 2 years now bro and i used it everday to work. I live in newyork i travel around 16miles a day from home to work and im a 260lb guy woo but hey stil works
I just got one. When i turn it on. Theres a annoying beeping sound how do i turn it off?
hey NY. I also live in NY and thinking of purchasing this one. They have it at a great price @Cotsco. My question, living in the city and also a daily bike rider, we have unexpected stops at times because some people never pay attention. ( like walking in middle of street looking at your cellphone! argh!) How confident are you with this scooter stopping on a dime? I'm thinking of buying the more expensive model. However, I do like the lighter weight of ES3 which comes in handy and less bulky than the Ninebot max.
Thank you in advance.
Thx a lot for the review
I'm ordering one from Costco right now.. Hopefully i will enjoy the scooter.
You will definitely enjoy it! Happy Scooting Carl 🛴⛑👋
Can you make more silverwing videos?!? Specifically the dash and instrument cluster tear down. As well as transmission and drive belt replacements!! Much love!
Super helpful and informative👍🏻👍🏻💪🏼
That's the plan! it'll be on and crackin when I get a motorcycle lift 👍
Enjoyed the review. Found your channel through a very informative and supportive post you left. Keep up the good work.
Awesome, thank you!
Can you remove the battery and keep an spare battery for your trips? Do they sell replacements for the battery?
is this front or rear wheel drive?
If this guy calls this a budget scooter, the Gotrax GXL V2 must be free in his eyes lmao.
Just bought one the back tire bounces is that normal
Does it have underglow LED’s? I’ve seen some that have this but I’m not sure which model has this feature.
yes, this one has led lights
On water, the es3 is very slippery and dangerous when turning
Bro, $699 is not a budget scooter. Gotrax starts at $249. Now that's a budget scooter.
I'm glad you commented that. This is in no way a debate, it's just my opinion. In your opinion where in regards to budget would you place the ES3: middle range budget or high-end budget?
Thanks 👍
@@MaxiScooterGuy Mid range sounds about right.
I finally bought a couple from Costco.
I didn’t realize that it’s only half a product.
You need a smart phone to use it after you download a Chinese application.
I don’t want to be tracked.
Should have put a screen on it.
Make it a complete unit.
Half a product? I disagree. A well informed consumer would have done their workout on this product prior to purchasing it. Every ES3 unboxing/initial ride covers that mandatory step about pairing phone to scoot. Yes, out of the box you have to DL the app to get all the disclaimers and recommendations for legal reasons and after that you can delete the app.
Quesiton:
At what price point would Segway Ninebot ask if they built the Es3 with Full Dashboard with all the bells and whistles? a hundred more, $200, $300 more?
I have students and friends who have kick scooters, but I’ve never seen an electric one in person before. Does it maintain its speed on hills, and how does it run in the rain? Any problems with potholes, or gravel?
Scooterwolf's Motovlog, it cant go in rain and it does maintain its speed on hills
Starting with the question about speed on hills If they are less 15% slope 🛴⛰the ES3 should be able to handle it as per manufacturer specifications. I tackle hills with common sense. I stepp of the scooter, walk it up and hop back on, that way I do not run down the battery reserves and keep the motor hub operating temperature from overheating. Another method I've used is to actually kick as I climb the hill, call it "self-assist". That helps a lot in my opinion, I get to stretch my legs and get in a bit of exercise, too 👍
Rain, the scooter is manufacturer rated at IPX5 (IPX5
A product with a rating of IPX5 is protected from water jets projected by a nozzle (6.3mm) from any directions.) so there is some protection against rain. Potholes should be avoided at all cost. Maneuvering on gravel is doable, but rider's attention is a must, same as riding a Maxi or Moto because things can get squirrelly. I have since returned this model and replaced it with the MAX. As the name suggests everything about my current model is MAX.
Oh and one last thing about speed on hills, even at 15%, speed drops to about 5km/h and once is got to that speed I got off. Better to play it safe than sorry and nurse the scooter up the hill. That's my $0.02.
@@MaxiScooterGuy Thanks. I've seen these around Philly a bit - onewheel.com
It looks like a lot of fun but I know there's a real thriving electric/kick scooter community out there too.
@@ScooterwolfsMotovlog yes, those onewheels are effin sweet. It made my short list, however, they are prone to nose plants and many onewheel riders end up with injuries to hands, arms and collarbones. Most reported broken fingers, hands, wrists and collarbones as most common injuries sending them to ER. I think escooters are a lot safer.
I have a es2 I've been riding it for 1 week now ..
I heard of es1 and es4 and max ..but never heard es3 that is es3
Yeah I get that comment often. Here it is straight off the Segway Webstore store.segway.com/segway-ninebot-kickscooter-es3
How is it on dirt rough dirt roads and gravel?
Not too much of that here in the city, plus I don't wanna trash it ;)
Need to to fix your audio mixing. Loud opening. Random low voice with too loud music
Have you tried riding it in the snow?
No, I would risk wiping out.
Can I easily mod this for it to go faster ?
Good question 👌 My understanding is that when you change any parameter on the scooter it has equal opposite effect. Faster speed equals lower range... etc.
My suggestion is buy scooter that fits your needs from the start.
how much miles could it stay charged for
Hi, that is 1 question I will answer in the near future 🙌. How much Kilometres do you think I will go on a full battery?
@@MaxiScooterGuy not sure how long did you go?
buy it from Costco its $599 and you could return it when you want
Costco is the store that I bought it from 👍 You know how to do it 😁
@rajesh b why is it dumb
What us the difference from the es4
Hi, the ES2 and ES4 have front and back suspension. The ES4 is just an ES2 with both an internal and external battery.
@@MaxiScooterGuy nice i think im going for the es4 for longer range
Whats the top speed of the es3 in sports mode?
Top speed on flats 27Km/h and I did hit 37km/h steep downhill. Whats your number like? Do they match mines?🤔
@@MaxiScooterGuy 27, 30 down a little hill
@@Wisemenity How does yours go 27?? Mine goes 25 max
@@Wisemenity it does go 27 to 30 put on sport
I hate the brakes on this
How can I make this scooter go faster
Buy turbo
Never said the speed. Terrible.
Thanks for the comment🤘🤘 Have a great day
@@MaxiScooterGuy You’re welcome dad.
