I met Steve in North Hollywood some years ago, I think he was working on recording his last album. Very solid guy, very youthful. He said “ I left show business because when you wear out they just replace you with someone else and I didn’t want to be that!” He possesses a talent that few will ever match. A unique sound and a powerful spirit.

I can totally tell when Steve is singing. I love all 3 of them but Steve is my absolute favorite. I was totally blown away by his voice in “Mother Father” and when his voice went to whistle register during Neal Schon’s guitar solo during “Wheel in the Sky” and he did it live which most can’t do.
