They live in a wrong era. They have such great song writing skill but IMO their bass player and drummer need lots of work to do to catch up (in terms of playing skills) with Luke and the guitar player.
My daughter got me hooked on their music and I agree. I’m in my 50s and I think it’s The Rolling Stones/David Bowie/classic rock vibe. They’re awesomely talented.
I'm 47. It's great to know there are more contemporary people listening to this great band. Sometimes being a rock soul is quite lonely, musically speaking.

It resembles the rock of the 70s. I don't know if it's true, but many artists used their voices in a way that was more common then than it is now. Get a voice like Mr. Playing, but here are some. Janis Joplin, Robert Plant, The Sweet, Jennifer Holliday, QUEEN.... Yes, you might understand what I mean...
