One thing abpout the Quadraxis fight I loved was that little cutscene when the head seperates: You see how Samus despite crippling the legs knows it isn't over, and presses some stuff on her arm cannon and Quadraxis as it stumbles and struggles to stay upright suddenly turns its head to look directly at her, as if deep in its cold artificial mind infested by Ing malice it knows, and then it drops the now useless legs to continue fighting.
Quadraxis is one of my favorite Metroid bosses, and this theme is just so... cool. This feels so much more ominous and imposing than the original, and I think it suits the fight much better. I'll never forget walking into that arena as a kid and just staring up at it moon-eyed like, "I have to fight this thing?" You've definitely captured that feeling here.

I love how the boss that has a literal homing beam, no light zones, a move that pulls you INTO the center by spinning and just in general requires really good timing is so much easier than a boss who turns into a ball and zooms around very fast. I guess it can be chalked up to arena size and also the fact you have less health by boost guardian, but god damn is it difficult for no good reason. Good cover tho, love Quadraxis' battle and theme
I wish I could say WHEN, but IF Nintendo decides to remaster the Prime Trilogy, they should just save themselves the bullshit of finding people and just pay you to do the OST remixes.

I know that it's called Metroid Prime Remastered but it kinda feels from what I've seen (gotta wait till my birthday on the 26th to get it... sadly.) in a middle ground between what one would expect of a remaster normally and a full-on remake and this pleases me that my very first Metroid game in Prime 1 is back and it looks from what I've seen gorgeous! Just shut up and take my money Nintendo cause I LOVE Prime 1!

A friend introduced me to the metroid licence, as I grew up without access to gaming consoles. So far I've played the 3 Prime games and planning on buying a controller to play the 2D games later on. I've been obssessed with the lore, ambiance and music of these games and I remember my first fight with Quadraxis while streaming my game to said friend, it was both incredibly fun and also so challenging ! I love this reimagined theme for this boss, the eerie vibe and that clanking sound makes the threat even more palpable. I've been listening to your Metroid playlist the whole day

Quadarxis was an awesome boss, but I wished his attacks hit harder and him taking less damage to bring down, and also wish he was less generous with the restore items, a difficult boss with the challenge of fighting it in a poisonous atmosphere would have made for an epic boss fight I think.
This boss takes time to take down, especially when you miss the weak points or when you target the body parts at the wrong time. Well, more time to listen to the music.

I love this game but time has not treated it THAT great. I believe if it was remade in a very particular way, jt could be an absolute masterpiece. The prime games have always and forever will be great, but its dated controls make it difficult to revisit time and time again. This boss fight felt grandiose for its time, now its nothing more than moving puzzle.

The Boost Guardian is just objectively the worst boss in the entire game
Boost guardian was hard for me because I would only use light beam on temple bosses.
Deplete your ammo on boost guardian and it is manageable.
Still remember staying up all night at 15 years old playing Metroid Prime 2 for the first time because it was that good. Very good job on this track
if metroid prime 2 echoes got a remaster, this reimagined theme would fix perfectly in the boss battle
