Few tips & tricks since I’ve owned over 30+ eg , ek , dc platforms You don’t need to drop the steering column , you can unbolt the actual brake pedal from the manual assembly and use it in the auto pedal which is a 5 minute swap There’s a company called C2spec motoring that makes a complete auto to manual plug n play harness that utilizes the reverse lights , Neutral safety switch and doesn’t require any cutting or soldering or wires. Auto & manuals engine harness are the same aside from some plugs. But if you B swap and keeping your OEM harness you may need to de loom some of the harness to extend it
@@hush22performance1 sounds good I may get that clutch line because people just tend to cut it out in the junk yard and it’s plug and play right can’t really remember
great video man. you stated in the beginning youd need a manual ecu, but mentioned you were still running the auto ecu in the end. have you run into any issues with that?
@@pace3101 the vehicle is not registered or insured. I haven’t drove it any further than what was shown in the video. It should give me a trans code which is why I mentioned it including the harness. The ecu is not the original to the vehicle but the serial reads auto. That doesn’t not mean it’s stock. It could be chipped. I haven’t looked. The trans code should disable VTEC and put it in limp mode. Limp mode may only allow the vehicle to rev no more than 4K rpm in order to protect its self.

@@hush22performance1 Don't know if it was youtube or what happened, but I gave props on your video being good and added a suggestion to cover up the large shifter hole: At the junkyard cut out a portion of the center tunnel from a manual car and use it as a plate from the inside of the car to mount the bushing and cover up both AT holes at the same time. Plate will also allow use of the OEM rubber gasket around the shifter to prevent heat and grime coming inside.

Good work. Is it the same for UK/RHD cars or are there some differences?
@@genefuzer4287 I can only speculate.
@ is there anything you could imagine being different pal? Even if it’s speculative, just a bit of food for thought is all :)
@ you could cross reference the OEM RHD auto mount bracket part number to a LHD auto mount bracket part number
how stiff were the motor mounts?!!
