Dex is the reason I use the S series over the A. All Galaxy users are entitled to Hancom Docs free of charge via Samsung store and on Dex mode this is the killer app for Samsung. Also all Galaxy devices natively support read/write of NTFS drives and support wired ethernet. So if you have a USB C dock then all you need is a Galaxy S. The S23 FE (both Exynos and Snapdragon versions) emulate Switch games fine via Suyu and PSVita via Vita3k. If you are on a tight budget then the cheapest S series will do the trick.
It's interesting how these brands set prices based on the market, In India the case is opposite S23FE is much cheaper at $428.92 and more price drop too during sales while Pixel 8a is bit expensive at $631.46.
I have 40 plus gigs of audiobooks. Add to that music, videos, pictures, apps... I think the thing is SD cards are an intrusion point for water and debris
Team Google here. Great review but you left out that the front camera has a ultra wide 96.5 vs a 95 fov on the 8 and 8 pro. The 96.5 which is closest to the pixel 3 with the fov of 97 and still king of the selfie ultra wide front camera
Just picked up the S23 FE for $170 through metro a week ago. Had an S22, then switched to a pixel 6 pro and then to the S23 FE. I love this phone

I Actually Have The Galaxy S23 FE & Had Mines Since December & It Works Really Well I Paid Like $350 For Mines At Metro Back In December
They scammed you I only paid 100 dollars
Me too I got mine in February from Metro for the same price I love it
I don't see the bezels you all are talking about on the 8a🤷🏼♀️ . It's perfectly pretty to me
❤
I went with the s23 fe and it seems to perform better with PS2 emulation from what I seen on UA-cam.
Literally both are the same
Samsung s23FE with Exynos
Pixel 8A with Tensor 3 ( Made by Samsung)
Google Pixel 8a ❤
Hey hi ,
In India we have a great Indian sale in Flipkart can I buy Google pixel 8a
maybe in the end add which one would u chose if u had to chose one and why. that would help alot
There are 256gb versions of both phones at least here in portugal
Samsung fones in uk have the exynos, which isn't up to the same standard, why would I give them my custom
which is better at video?
128gb are more than enough, dude
64gb are the minimum
Living in 2020 are we
Definitely NOT enough if you’re a heavy media user like me. We need multiple movies, shows, podcasts, music, and games downloaded at all times.
I have 40 plus gigs of audiobooks. Add to that music, videos, pictures, apps...

64 is definetly not enough in 2024. 128 is minumum and can be enough depending on usage.
I think 128 is good but it would be nice if they made it 256 gigabyte

it's hotter in his left hand
If you like big bezels both are great
Or an SD card slot
