Okay but hear me out: Boss Rush Rando. Randomize which boss you fight and make the chests more interesting. There can be a no logic version and the punishment for getting an unbeatable seed would be less severe as boss rush is already a short playthrough. It would also be pretty interesting if you could somehow make a "Bloody Palace" type of thing based on the Boss Rush where you make up interesting hordes of enemies with unique combinations, or random ones.
Bosses do not work in different arenas than their intended one, unlike in games like ALttP. They require the specific mechanics of their arenas and moving them elsewhere will just break the game. I guess you could however change the warps themselves.
@@Haboo65 so on the 3Ds boss rush you fight every boss in order and you get two chests to choose from. You always get the items you “need” to beat the next boss or you get health items and so on. Instead: randomize which boss you fight and which items you get. You can have logic versions and no logic versions and the resets may be frequent but the run is also super short already. Also: make a version that is like the bloody palace from Devil May Cry where you fight hordes of enemies which can be hand picked or randomized and earn an item after each room until you get to the end. The point is it would be interesting
I think this is a real work in progress. I'm going to get this installed very soon. I think there needs to be a way to make it so the hints provide more of a key item hint, but also remain somewhat ambiguous. For example, 'there are 9 girls who work here and nearby lies the bane of Skulltula.' This could be Kakariko adult, Gerudo Fortress or Marketplace and the item could be hookshot, bow etc. That way people who aren't total experts don't get overly stuck but equally provides a huge challenge still, but things like 'Lockpick in the forest' don't help the flow of the game because as more key items are obtained one would think this is a check you'd make anyway. I also think that if shopsanity is a viable route then re-balancing costs of items should be applied. I love the randomness of the medallions, I genuinely think for this type of game mode to be successful the best runs will come from that. Potentially editing what NPCs say as well making them viable. Such as 'I heard a new shop was coming here soon and they would stock an item made from the finest glass' - a subtle hint for a somewhat non-important item as well as the foreshadowing that you can't get it yet but can later. Awesome stuff though I'll probably comment again when I've played heavily myself!
"If the forest is closed Kokiri Sword is guaranteed to be in the forest" This is actually only partially correct, you *could* also find either bombs, a warp song+ocarina, or the Zora Scale and have the sword be elsewhere (leaving the forest is possible with all above mentioned items). However logic would put the sword somewhere you can access before making you enter the Deku Tree so it's rare it won't be in the forest but the possibility is there. I had a run once where the sword was the reward for stopping the rolling Goron in Goron City, and the bomb bag was 105 in Kokiri shop. Wallet upgrade ended up being the Deku scrub in the room with the bridge to Hyrule Field.
I'm not gonna lie I've played and beat ocarina a lot of times but there is so much stuff I'm seeing you do that I didn't even know was I'm the game lol
I had no Idea you could run this on an actual 3DS console, I thought these types of things had to be run with emulation. I downloaded luma and the randomizer today and it's so fun!
i love the new features! i do have a suggestion though (more of a '2.5' than a '3.0' thing, if you catch my drift): a Check-Tracker...like, theres already a Spoiler Log built-in (again, LOVE it), but maybe if youve already picked up that item, mark it with Green Text instead? just for those who take long breaks between sessions-- i dont like going all the way to a remote location, just to find out ive already checked it last time (itd also help newcomers "learn" all the spots' names)
Finding out that there's a randomizer for OOT 3d makes me very happy to know since 3d is my favorite version. But I wonder if you can do this on pc too or if it's 3ds only.
I'm trying this now, my 3ds seems to be hanging on "placing items.." though. Unless it's just taking an obscenely long time to place the items, I don't think that's the case though. It's been going for about 5 or so minutes now
Aw, dude, I saw pink Link and I had to click. Pink Link is an ancient inside joke in my friend group (We dubbed him Salmon, and thus name Link "Salmon" every Zelda game) because "ITS NOT PINK, ITS SALMON" Remember, pink is manly >:)
Question, what does being able to lower and raise the water level in Lake Hylia get you? I don’t know of any checks you can get in one state but not the other?
If you have the Longshot and the Gold Scale, you can get into Water Temple without Iron Boots while the water is lowered. This is included in glitchless logic, and if the Iron Boots (or an item required to get Iron Boots) are inside the temple and you raised the water level by beating the temple you can otherwise permanently lock yourself out of Water Temple, and if any unclaimed items in there are needed to beat the game you are screwed. As for why you need the water to be in the raised state, the only way to pick up the item from shooting the sun without using a glitch is to swim over to the platform and climb up, which only works when the lake is full. Additionally, since we have Keysanity (keys are not nessesarily in the dungeon they are from) it should be noted that the only ways to reach adult fishing glitchless are having an Ocarina or raising the water in Lake Hylia, which if the Water Temple boss key, the Longshot and either Gold Scale or Iron Boots do not need an ocarina, is possible to do without an ocarina in glitchless logic.

Soon after the bomb's flashing quickens, mash A rapidly until you have finished rolling forward. It is a 4 frame window to roll as Adult Link if set up properly, and 3 frames to roll as child. 3. The superslide will start, let go of R when you want to end it. Extended Superslide: 1.During a regular Superslide, slightly tilt the joystick down to either the left or right. This must be a very slight tilt, just enough to have pressure on the joystick. At this point, you can now remove the Z and R buttons. If done correctly, Link will start to spin in a circle. Simply repress and hold Z to 'lock' in a new direction. OOT tricks are a little hard because they always depend on timings and joystick, but after practising you will definetly get it.
