not trying to be negative, but often times the couch ruins an agdq run for me. this is a rare, refreshing instance of having a top tier runner both with commentary and gameplay, AND a couch member who not only is knowledgeable about the game, but understands when to add commentary, and when not to. love to see it.

This is a remaster, not a remake. Seriously, a runner can't get basic terms right 10 seconds into talking? Runners have known this is just updated game code from the N64 versions since this came out in 2011, and not a remake. Grezzo had an entire completed game presented to them to update, unlike the Link's Awakening remake programmed from nothing. It's not hard to google basic terms.
Incredibly subjective and vague, just like glitches versus bugs. The industry itself has used the terms interchangeably. Heck, go back 2 decades and basically everything was referred to as a port or remake. The Wikipedia article on video game remakes specifically starts its definition section by stating that OoT3D and MM3D are remakes rather than remasters. So your "not hard to google" statement is also completely moot. The vast majority of assets in the game are remade, UI and UX is remade, it has changes to gameplay; not to mention completely game-changing differences for speedrunning. Who decided that a remake must specifically have a new codebase made from scratch. Anyway, at the end of the day it simply does not matter what you call it, and there is no clear agreed upon definition in place. So get off your high horse and stop being an ass for no apparent reason. It's not a great look.
