Disclaimer : The board in the thumbnail is 33 x 46 inches, the cost is correct, a few GBP more than a gaming matt of the equivalent size. There is an editing error in the Intro to this video. It suggests that the board may be 46 x 66, I can easily see how this might be misleading, but I do follow that up saying it is easily big enough for Combat Patrol, which is correct. Thanks to @michaelbrockelhurst4227 alerting me to this oversight. If you enjoyed this video or found it useful, hopefully some free templates will atone for my error www.wulvenkraft.com/downloads
I’m just getting into the hobby, I think this will be a great first board for me to attempt. Will help me with practice cutting foam on a wire table. Thanks for the video!
Wow man! Its a lot of work! Overall with the hundreds of tiles. But the result is awesome! the bricks and the sand and grass textures over them is so natural. Congrats and thanks to share! See yaa!
Going for the ISO division is a very smart move. I like the plain tile stage of your build. other people call it done and decorate their office walls with it. nice work.
Ripper video mate, great going. The one thing I can suggest to save your fingers and tendons in future with the spray bottle is if you can find one at your local dollar shop/poundland grab one of those pressure pump spray bottles used for spraying insecticides and stuff. I got one for spraying mass terrain pieces with watered down PVA and stuff and it absolutely saved my wrist!
It all helped make the process much easier but I did have to take a night off after working out the sequential percentages, it very much made my brain ache 🤣
I’m going to use a new Wallpaper Pasting board & alter the hinges to make, more of a square shape. Discard the legs & keep the carry handle for mobility. The inside can be used as a Brucie Bonus to store some small terrain & miniatures 🤪
Awesome video! Hey what kind of tabletop bandsaw are u using? I’m tired of using my copper wire cutter. Looks like the one your using would seriously cut down my terrain building time
Thank you! It's a Proxxon, it has it's issues but in general is a very useful & consistent tool, although a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Plus there's a company called Shifting Lands I think, that makes a load of different jigs for it that can make life very easy.
@@WulvenKraft thanks so much! I got a terrain building get together in a couple weeks and I wanna get an early head start on all the cutting and priming!
Yes, if you wanted a 6x4. But the very slight extra cost compared to a gaming Matt is well worth it in my opinion. It looks so much better & is more immersive, not to mention extremely satisfying, even looking great on a wall.

Don't see how this is the one board you will ever need. I want 4'X 6' which can be adjusted to any type of scene. That board is not going to give me the manoeuvre room for 28mm Eldar using skimmers to flank. It wont look like a city scape or desert. The size issue is not your fault however. There seems to be a trend set by GW to concentrate battles into a smaller area leading to the big bash rather than finesse of manoeuvre.
6x4 ... just double it, that's the point of this build, it's easy to expand. If you want dessert, don't use flock. The point of this build wasn't to make every board GW says you should play on, but simply to make a board you can use in multiple systems that's easy to build, store & set up.

The cliffhanger in the end really got me! Can't wait to see your next video! Keep up the great work boy!
The Fortress build is taking a while, lots to consider, but its coming along nicely.

More than happy to help! Don't let being new hold you back, I don't have that much experience, everything is there on UA-cam for everyone to see 🤣

Aye Quim, a lot of work but I'm so pleased with the end result, looks great.
Awesome! They look so good as storage on the wall as well. I'm invested now. Looking forward to seeing what it is you are working on with the board.
Oh that's something I'm going to take my time with & will end up with another board build 🤣
Awesome - got me inspired to give some terrian making a go - afternoon from here on the south coast UK - o7
Goal accomplished! Thank you!
Great video! Been wanting to make a board, and your video lays out all out easy.
Very happy to help! It's much easier than we first think.

I have some ideas based on that very concept Mr Targson 🤣
Sweet video. I love the idea of just hanging up battle boards like this as a display 😂
Aye, there is an art to the stuff we make & we should treat it accordingly, bonus that it's an easy solution to what can be a large problem 🤣
Im not even into tabletop games but this was an awesome and entertaining video. This channel has a future.
I think this is my favourite comment that's been left on any of my videos! Thank you.
@@WulvenKraft No problem!
Ha! Love the McFarlane mode with the help sign 😂. Good video too 😜
Aye, he's my spirit guide! 🤣
Yea, mate! This is what I exactly needed for my next board! Thank you so much!
Glad I could help!

I have already bought one my friend 🤣. I read your comment in an Australian accent, if I am correct, I very much appreciate the word 'Ripper' 🤘
@WulvenKraft yeah mate bang on lol I'm aussie
Mindboggling maths and great detail, great video and epic result

Yeah I need to get them finished properly. There's a link in the description to some free templates if you fancy.

So clever! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Sir
Great guide, can I ask what scroll saw you are using - it looks to have a nice deep cut
Its a Proxxon, but if you saw my last video you'd know its not deep enough 🤣

N I C E! I would buy some piano hinges though, far more suitable. The hinges on those tables can be very very weak.
That brick pattern turned out pretty good!
All thanks to Mr Lictenberg! 🤣
This board looks incredible, subscribed!
Thank you Mr Jack!
Very nice brother

Very impressive!
Cheers you naughty boy you! 🤣
Great board !

Wow. Where do you get your xps foam from in the UK. I cant seen to find any anywhere 😅

"Consistency in the chaos." 😂
It helped a lot 🤣
Sick board.
Cheers Savage!
Really cool. I'm a new Sub on your channel.
You've made my day!
Great build but don’t you need 4 boards at £20ish each to made the full set?
Yes, if you wanted a 6x4. But the very slight extra cost compared to a gaming Matt is well worth it in my opinion. It looks so much better & is more immersive, not to mention extremely satisfying, even looking great on a wall.
Very kool
Thank you Sigurd
wait, someone beat you to this idea ages ago :D
Someone? I would hope so, it's staring us all in the face!
It would even work for Stalingrad.
Great, another game to investigate 🤣
Math on that playing area to cost doesn't work out. For your £41 you either get a 46"x33" or 23"x66". To get 46"x66", it's double that.
Well spotted! Although not a maths error, an editing error unfortunately.
My toxic trait is thinking I can do this as well as you have done mate

All of my experience in crafting is on UA-cam! The biggest skill involved is patience.
