- in this video I replace the front driver side lower control arm and sway bar link on this 2004 2006 but about the same up to 2009 and years before or very similar this video is step by step explained. this video is also in spanish/ este video tambien esta en espanol @: / @jm-4k
NO BS straight to the point great edits! Great stuff!
thank you, appreciate it so much.
Great video, very thorough. I didn't have all the fancy tools, and I had to use two wrenches to get enough leverage. The sway bar was right over one of the bolts. The bolts were extremely difficult to remove. One of the front motor mount bolts snapped when I tried to remove the nut, so I need to replace that. It took me all day to do the left side, everything was frozen. The torch and even the weak "impact wrench" from Ryobi helped to loosen things, but a real impact driver would've been a big help. I'm going to do the right side now. Thanks for all the great info!
im glad you are doing a great job and thanks for coming to my channel.
Learning from the master here. Very detailed education MR. #1 subscriber!
Awesome, thank you! I really apreciate it very much.
Yes, this is the best method, loosening the front motor mount to allow the engine to raise far enough but I loosen the three nuts on bottom as well as the one on top and just leave all the nuts on the ends of the studs. This ensures that the studs stay in the holes as you lift and drop the engine back down.
great comment thanks for sharing and also for taking the time on this channel, much appreciated.

gracias Amigo es un comentario muy bonito
So you have to remove the motor mounts just to do the control arm?
yes that is correct
Seems very easy. What is the estimated cost for this (both control arms)?
Very good video.
thank you very much and God bless you and your Family as well.
So just one motor mount for the engine for me to do both control arm sides correct
UA-cam only showing your video 1 and 2. Where can I find 3, 4 and 5?
What happens if you forget to replace bracket ???! I’m pretty sure I seen it around and I had FINISHED installing it on my sienna
might get disalignment and control arm will wear out fast since there is not thing between also other suspension components since nothing is aligned because the brocket is missing
Same on Camry and Avalon
yes the same on avalon and camry, thanks for your comment.
And highlander I believe just bigger sized bolts
Of course I missed the stupid bracket
