"An Olympic Dream" ist eine olympische Hymne, die keine ist. Als Originalwerk für Blasorchester war es nie das Ziel des Komponisten, sein Werk an die Eröffnungsfei-er einer Olympiade zu bringen. Schade, wie wir finden - dieses Stück mit seiner Fanfaren-Einleitung und dem rockig-synkopischen Hauptteil hätte definitiv das Po-tential dazu!

As an original work for wind band, it was never the composer's aim to have his work performed at the opening ceremony of an Olympic Games. A pity, in our opinion - this piece with its fanfare introduction and rock-syncopated main section definitely has the potential!
