I think this is the first time I've ever heard a female artist do a Black Sabbath song very cool. This is actually one of my favorite Black Sabbath songs and is 53 years old and it still revelant today which is kind of sad the world still hasn't learned

Very well said, indeed. I still feel it after 37 playing. There's nothing like when you have a amp and guitar combination that makes you feel that way. For the last 5 years I had a Ibanez TSA15H; it simply wasn't capable of this. So, recently, I totally rebuilt it. Now, it's a fire breather!

She made the song her own, put her own spin on it, pulled it off and did a great job. Her and the band were great. Sure, they aren't Black Sabbath, but thankfully she doesn't look like Ozzy either. I listened to Black Sabbath back in the 1970s and 1980s and I'd say she did a great job on the guitar and replicating Tony Iommi's unique sound, and she did a great job on the vocals as well. I'm sure Ozzy, Tony, Geezer, and Bill would be proud to hear the younger bands they're still inspiring to this day.

This is a decent version, no doubt, but Sam sounds better with other songs.. Samantha is a great player but her tone her is a bit weak for a Black Sabbath song. Tony Iommi used a Gibson SG with heavy, high-output pickups.

Then I'll do it my way, and hit everything with the growl and ferocity of napalm reigning on your parade. She was killing it, she wasn't trying to get Iommi tone anyway.
Making music, especially Rock 'n' Roll is mostly about the fun. But she didn't transport the message of the song. Anger, fear, power and horror should be in her voice. Wailing, growling and shouting in my opinion is important to transport the message of the lyrics of this anti-war song.
It takes some sack (as it were) to take a mighty Black Sabbath classic like this and make it your own. This is solid stuff. True to the original but not slavishly so, rough in all the right places, all instrumentalists are strong individually and as an ensemble. The soulful gospel vocals are icing on the cake. Please continue the good work, Ms. Fish & co. 8)

Saw her playing on the square of my hickass hometown of Richmond Missouri in the fall of 2012!!!! A friggin free concert!!! She was amazing,and after she played she sat and talked with me for like 20 mins!!! Just as cool and humble as she could be,and I've been hooked ever since!!!
