Recognition to the sound engineer that captured this!
Right, it sounds better than most bands in a studio
facts those drums are crispy
hi hat kinda muddy/distanced in some moments. but otherwise great job
Amen
Thanks!
That guitar has tone for days
Best drummer I've ever heard on a small set! He is a beast🎉
Look up etepario siberiano
Rival Sons has a good one
@@realblakrawbthat dude doesn’t know how to actually play for the song…. Insane chops but that’s about it
@@realblakrawb +1
"on a small set"? have you ever held a pair of drumsticks? wtf, Estapario uses a 3 piece kit and covers slipknot songs. Not saying the drummer isn't a badass, he is, but the number of pieces on his kit is totally irrelevant.
Blows my mind how he’s getting these tones without using a pick! And the band nailed it!! Unbelievable musicians !
That drummer is as solid as a rock.
That was one of my first thoughts as well. Then I found the whole length video - that bass player is a badass too. Really puttin it down...
Drummer and bass player are Hars as a Rock 🪨 🎸
I'm an 894 year old Plutonian and this was awesome.
Drummer is absolutely phenomenal. He's got real touch!🔥🔥
This is pure professional playing here.
The drummer and bassist really made this awesome for me. I knew what to expect on guitar, really a great version.
exactly! never get to see clips of the band, but they rocked it!!
yes they play a cover....like a cover should be play...............................................................................
Yeah, I think that’s the point of my comments.… I know what to expect out of the whole thing I mean the whole thing and as I expected, it’s kind of plate now.… Not detracting from Black Sabbath detracting from people in their 50s in guitar Center or something thinking they’re super Duper, entertaining and acting very impressed with their selves
Geezer wrote this song when he was probably 16 or 17 years old.… I mean it’s just a little food for thought.… I would not be spending my Saturday afternoons in guitar center trying my best to wreak some final pleasure out of this 55 year old song that people play with one string on the guitar.… I’m just saying you guys need like a little step back from the whole guitar in the olden long hair type of thing😊
Yeah, yeah then he goes yeah, time for a beer.… No actually it’s a time for you to go outside and find something to do
That tone he has is just killer
Isn't crazy that huge guitar sound is comming out of that Blackstar head into a 4x12 marshall ? EDIT just googled the blackstar head is a St. James 50 EL34 model...
and he gets that toan with fingers ! it would sound muddy if i did that
@@fabienbourdier9847he’s a special talent no doubt about that
I’ve heard a few Blackstars and they all sounded good to me.
@@SiqueiraBlues Don't fool yourself...those Marshall's are activated. He's playing through a fuzz pedal. A good fuzz pedal is the secret weapon. As a rock guitar player of 40 years I never owned a fuzz pedal till a few years ago.....changed the game for me.
On top of being one the best guitarists & straight-up musicians out there today, Jared James Nichols is such a nice person. I was fortunate to meet JJN a few years ago. He is so level headed and down to earth. So happy to see his rising success. So well deserved!
I'm not arguing about how nice he is as a person, but... one of the best guitarists? It looks you don't listen to the music you should, if JJN is one of the best.
The entire band's tone was so great. Playing that cleanly at that volume in a relatively small space is amazing. Everything about this cover was fantastic.
Dude! I'm 70 and can testify that's the best rendition of War Pigs I've ever heard. All 3 of you kick Sabbath ass!
no they don t...u gotta be joking, That dude even plays with fingers...wtf lmao
It really was pretty good.
@@mantelmann13 Ye, it was cool. Good sound and tones. Sure. The vocalist isn t there though...Just my opinion.
I was just saying it's kick ass for a Sabbath cover. Which it fucking IS. I didn't say that this is somehow "better" than the original.
It’s pretty good but my favourite version is the one of the Just Say Ozzy EP with Ozzy, Geezer Butler, Zakk Wylde and Randy Castillo. I have to say Jared James Nichols drummer is really awesome.
The spirit of rock and roll is definitely still trekking through this guy
Drummer kicking ass, all kicking ass
That snare tone is perfect
unreal, only 3 guys making such amazing sound, small drum kit but yet huge sound and skill, really great guys.
Rock n roll in its purest form. And to all my guitar playin brothers out there, how bout that tone from those p90’s?!
him with PhilX on one bill is pretty much all u would need for a great night of ear piercing full blown entertainment ,, they both have that same energy
Love his old school energy!
Holy shit. That Blackstar sounds awesome.
look what that drummer can do with such a minimal kit. Killing it. 🤘 And Jared's little grin at 4:28 when he squeezes out those harmonics and knows he nailed it.
and without a pick, no less!
I’m 57 years old and this is the kick ass hard rock that I grew up on back since back in the late 70’s. Jared is part of the resurgence of this genre of music,
no pyrotechnics, no flashy lights and no synths; just a ballsy sound that punches you in the face and keeps you coming back for more!
Well said…
Great cover, guys! The bassist is Fiorentina fan! Respect! Forza Viola!!!
🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮 forza Milan
Freaking crushed it! Great in every way. Very inspirational cover.
Incredible talent in all these gentlemen.
Holy shit, that Blackstar stole the show, shit sounds huge!!!
they are increadable amps i use the 6l6 it goes from break up to hells gate is open very quickly in the most musical way
@@TheConspiracytheory1P 3:13 iggybacked into an 800? HAHAHA Why Not!
@@bazookajoethompson3407 Don't think the marshalls are on looking at the front panel power switches but what a sound that would be , i think it's the blackstar and his klon in this
That guitar has never been more frightened in it's life!
Working their asses off!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
MONSTER guitar sound👾
All three bend members are amazing!
Just...wow!
Now that's what you call great tone!
All i can say is WOW guys. 1) You did an AMAZING rendition of your own yet kept the accuracy of the original track. Thats TALENT 2) I love the tempo 3) The drummer is STRAIGHT GROOVING AND HA S HIS SOUND IN CHECK 4) The guitar player and singer, broski you sing NATURAL AND LIKE A MAN and your showmanship appears without ego and appreviative of the music and your pulls on the strings are dope! 5) The EQ of yalls equipment is spot on 6) And i did not forget the bass player keeping it SOLID AND BUSY over there!!! Bass players like that are tough to find!
Sounds killer. Vibrato sounds awesome. Good job on vocals.
I saw similar gig in a Madrid shop. I will remember FOREVER this cover.
Massively talented band.
Great version of this killer tune !
Jared James Nichols WILL BE one of this generations guitar gods
What can you say?? These guys are exceptional!
Love the sound of his voice too
Great live recording! Rock on brothers!
The drummer is insane!
Jared's tone is pure molten gold, the bass tone is great as well, but fuck me that Ludwig kit sounds fucking awesome too!
What a rendition and what a trio. Bravo.
Dude is a true rockstar.
This kicked some serious ass. Holy fucking shit what a power trio!
Damn! These guys can really play! Thank you so much.
Dude's got chops. Great voice.
It's just like Ted Nugent and Zakk Wylde had a child
😂👍
*james hetfield and kirk hammett child 😅
Those drums sound amazing amd the drummer is killing it! Jared is fantastic as always. The bass player is rocking too.
It’s a beautiful guitar. I just hope they bring out a left-handed version. 🖤🙏🏼
Wow!! Absolutely killed it!!🎸
Wow….totally on point 👏👊
Saw him at maid of stone festival
Absolutely blew me away and now have become a fan
That was pretty good ...brought back my teenage days ....
Still good song still today .... listen this means something
amazing real music
Apart from playing with what looks like a children’s bass drum the drummer did a great job channelling Bill Ward as he’s a great drummer who doesn’t always get the plaudits he deserves but up there with the best of the 70’s rock drummers. One of the hardest hitting drummers, maybe it’s a Brum thing, but at the time still able to swing his ride.
I’m a 154 and I still get excited when I hear this song gets me up in the morning.
Cooool your old brooo
Gives me the chills this guy!
LOVE THIS you guys! 💯🇺🇸
This is giving Gov't Mule in the 90s vibes. SICK!
The tone he coxes out of that LP without using a pick is nuts. Also the drummer is an animal.
Sounds great and the drummer is killing it with that little kit 💪😎
At any given time, Jared James has more square inches of skin in contact with his guitar than any guitarist I've ever seen. I changed my whole style to replicate his. And man, GuitarPoint is a SERIOUS guitar shop. Respect to all involved, and thanks for an insane rendition of the greatest antiwar song ever.
🙏
Glorious!! Wish I could have been there!!
JJN is the definition of a man and a guitar being connected and working together. I’m surprised there not a cord coming out of his brain!!! In my aging word, I have seen and heard a lot of guitarist. Jared is just bad ass. Definitely one of a kind. Lots of talent comes, but he has that magical talent and feel. You don’t get to see/hear it very often.
Dude thanks for smashing that into my ears. That was siiiick
Love it that the basset barely even comes into frame.
Holy God tone!!! Killer all of it, just killerrrr!
Hell yeah!What a sound, what a riffs! \m/
This would be the best version of this song I’ve heard so far
🎼🤘🤘🤘
Good job brother
Best cover I’ve ever heard next to the foo fighters on letterman. Outstanding performance and just one guitar!!!! He’s a beast.
Sabbath had one guitar! 😜😃🤘🏿😈🤘🏿
amazing performance , equals phil x amazing cover .
This is an exceptional cover.
Saludos desde Colombia! Excelente versión, guitarra tocada con los dedos a lo clásico, batería con poco que suena con mucho, bajo impecable...etc..etc.👍🤟
Fantastic performance
Saw him perform this at KKs Steel Mill in Wolverhampton when he was the support for The Winery Dogs. He was excellent.
Super bad ass!! Cheers from DETROIT!!
Who saw the Fiorentina badge on the bass man? 👀
Oh man loved this!!! and shoutout to the sound and camera guys!1
This sounds like an awesome mashup of the govt mule cover and black sabbath.
I love it!❤❤❤❤❤
holy crap the sound on this is nuts.
Dudes fuckin awesome!
All of this without a pick. Jared is a badass!!! The band is great too. 🧨🍻👍
Checkout the interview with Ola Englund! Epic...
Great cover! I'm most impressed by the Bass player.
Love it great, gets you back into it😊❤
Coooooolllll!!!
The bass player is killing it!
Superb cover. Great playing great tone and an excellent recording. Got a hankering for LP with P90s now. Maybe one of those Sire L7Vs...
nicely done tones are ripin'good thnx.
I love the Creamback M . Eventhough it's a 65 Watt speaker it will breakup quicker than you would expect which is one of the reasons I love it .
Great speaker in a Deluxe Reverb .
Oh yeah baby! The band mates is teary eyed atm!😮
That Les Paul should have been the next Epi JJN signature as the successor to Gold Glory. And Pelham blue(s power) could have been the first JJN Gibson model.
I would like to see a Dorothy custom shop run (similar to the Slash Jessica or JB lazarus) rather than a Dorothy epiphone. It's a bit too niche I think to be a production epiphone
Drummer is the beast!!!
Leslie West is smiling at this man and his TONE!
excellent all round, but the drums, wow. Sound guy did a great mix of the kit too.
Awesome Rhythm section
🤘🏿😈🤘🏿🔥🔥🔥
Awesome...you can tell there loving it.
