The original Foreigner lineup was the God-given chemistry! I appreciate the contributions of other musicians who were not the original members but, the first 2 Albums were fantastic!

Thank you for this video. Any time anyone has Lou on it’s must watch. You have pretty much always had great videos with few if any stinkers👈🏻🤣 Thanks for keeping Rock and Roll alive and almost always strictly Rock unlike the R&R HOF🤙🏻👍🏻

If I remember correctly Break It Up peaked at something like #14 on the charts...always loved that tune and the new lineup played it at one of my shows '06.

I got to see Foreigner on their first tour in the United States. They played the entire first album back to back and then played a brand new song called hot blooded. I said these guys are gonna make it.!!

""break it up" is a phenomenal song. One of my favs from 4. Night Life is a fun one too. I use to listen to the first side over and over, all ripping songs.

Supertramp, Styx, and Jethro Tull are certainly worthy of the R&R Hall of Fame. Can you imagine that a band (Supertramp) with two albums that reached Diamond sales certification (in Canada) plus another 4 Platinum albums (Canada) and a number of Gold albums (Canada) is not in the Hall. Too bad that the Hall of Fame isn't in Canada!

I remember reading an old interview with either Buck Dharma or Eric Bloom from Blue Oyster Cult, one of them was being asked about the fact that their albums were being burnt in these bonfires by morons who connected their music to Satan and Devil Worshipping, Eric or Buck said something like We could care less if they wanna burn our records, as long as they buy them first. One of the greatest, funniest quotes I ever read!

First I Hope Your Daughter Is Feeling Better Really Soon! I Hope in some way You still have a program on UA-cam I have seen other people I watch some and they were going to have to change I guess. I Really Love programs Like You do with The Best Music Ever Recorded and You Know Exactly the Really Important Bands! I have been Really Excited about this whole new group of people from Generations so much Younger Really Loving and Listening and to see the Excitement I have been watching this Vocal Teacher and You can tell she is Professional and she gives her reactions and she has just now seeing Triumph for her First Time and Just So Amazed with Rik Emmett and Band I remember growing up I first found Triumph in 1979 my Brother had a 8 track of Just A Game we were in 2 car loads driving 2 hours to Dallas for Texxas Jam and I was caught by the front cover of the tape and I put it in because of that and that tape stayed in the entire trip I remember getting home and calling local Rock station and asking DH to play some he had never heard I went and bought 2 Albums of Just A Game and took 1 to radio station and he ask me the Songs and I mentioned Lay it on The Line and Hold On and He Loved It and to this day that radio station still plays Lay it on The Line and then I discovered the San Antonio Tx. Radio station that took Triumph to another level and they Headlined a Music Fest! I have them and Journey as my 2 very Favorite I did get to see Triumph Live 9 times and Rik many more and they are Just Wonderful Guys! But I saw Triumph about 2 weeks after the US Festival at the Texxas Jam and my first to see with our Light Show and they were nearly Perfect Wow and the crowd got excited and Ted Nugent kept the 70 thousand going and Sammy Hagar my other Very Favorite was coheadlining with Styx Sammy had been playing nearly every Jam and was a crowd Favorite He had challenged Tommy Shaw to a Guitar Battle or something and I remember a Big picture of Sammy and Tommy and a write up but instead Sammy Brings Rik Emmett and Ted Nugent on stage and played encore Led Zeppelin Song and of 10 years that The Texxas Jam had been around from 1978 to 1988 that Performance of the 3 of them just was The Biggest moment I remember and I went to 9 Texxas Jams the crowd was crazy and Oh Man what it did to Styx was just killed them they started with little mini movie Kilroy was going to kill Music and when they did a little Broadway Play thing the crowd was Booing like I never had seen and people leaving by time they started playing played to the backs of Fans we stayed I am Big Tommy Shaw Fan and JY I hated for them it was not Best call taking that theater show and to a football stadium and a hundred degrees and that was a Rock Show and my point about seeing a revival of the Greatest music played and You Absolutely know It was the Best Rock Music Because Rolling Stone Magazine and that Awards thing they put together and call RRHOF and their Absolute snubs of Bands Like Boston and Foriegner and Styx and So Freaking many because it was what People Loved what burns me is so Many Amazing Talented Musicians who have Died and Really didn’t get to see an award they gave us their whole Lives and to be so not given what they Deserved Lou Graham one of The Greatest Rock Vocalist I saw him play that Texxas Jam event a couple times and to be able to soar his vocals at a Football Stadium Fair Grounds Wow and Steve Perry did same thing a couple times and just the Unbelievable Talented Musicians to just now be considered for something they Should have been able to receive when they were with their Families just gets me Gary Richrath before he died they should have Apologized for not honoring his work Brad Delp Unbelievable and Absolutely The Nicest Guy in Rock I can’t even begin to say how Special it was to hang out with and Wow! I got to see all these Amazing Bands with all original members and have kept going I am within a couple concerts of having gone to 700 concerts they are my Hobby but I see this Music being Admired all over and as Popular as it is getting again I Loved getting to see original members Live performances I once decided to try and go through my head and remember concerts and made a list of Top Ten Best Performances and Rik Emmett is on my list 3 times 3 different concerts and I got to see Journey 23 times but just 5 with Steve Perry but I felt Very Fortunate to get to see them and watching how these Young People would Really Love to at least see the Songs and I am Ok with Foriegner all these Bands have gotten true Professionals to keep these Amazing Bands being represented well and Yeah if I had not gotten to see Bands original from the start I might think differently I really just want to see the Music Live! I did not meet my Beautiful wife till I was 36 years old and she had traveled the world Singing and was involved in Her Evangelical work and she also saw some bad in how her ex husband was a Horrible Sex person that the Church leaders at some of the places because he and her and many others brought the attendance to churches to new Highs and these leaders to keep this kind of going would not let Her know how bad but mostly by that time they were just working together no marriage or anything like and finally a Church leader did the right thing stopping all his bad and encouraged her to get away from the evil he was and she did and meeting her and she was only 3 years younger and it was like we had never been married or any of that before and she Loved like me going to see Amazing Musicians Live so we got married and have 1 Beautiful Daughter and we never slowed down going to concerts and Chloe from just a couple months ELO was her first concert and Def Leppard she Danced on me and Loved every Song Journey was her Favorite and The NaNa Song by age 6 she had seen Journey 5 times and so many Great Bands when 9/11 was going on and Tommy Shaw was putting together a big 2 shows Music Festival to raise money for NYC Port Authority and every Great Classic Rock Band wanted to do something there were 2 big shows 1 Atlanta Ga. and 2nd was Dallas Texas and REO and Styx and the original Band of Kansas Played and Bad Company with The Great Paul Rodgers and in between Bands members of Journey played Trial By Fire acoustic and Journey was the Headline Band and my Daughter was just 2 and we were on a blanket in grass outdoor arena and she Never tried to leave blanket and all the Fans around us were so Amazed every time a Band was playing she was Focused and Just Loved the Music and these people were having to leave early because baby sitter Chloe really didn’t want to miss a Song and we stayed the whole show but I told anyone that asked if we were any where else she would not want to be there but every concert was Important we Had such a Blast and we Loved how she Loved Music like we did! So I am all for this going forward! Love Your Shows and appreciate learning about Band stuff from Grand Funk Railroad to Bachman Turner I have So many Favorite Bands from Canada at a young age was sick often and my Uncle’s had kept their Beatles collection while so many were taking to Beatles Bonfires after John Lennon said what he said I became the Biggest Beatles Fan as they were breaking up but led me to all this Wonderful Music the very first time I spent money that belonged to me in 1974 I bought Rush on a Blue 8 track tape and Loved It! Keep what you do It Matters!

Really the first four Foreigner albums are classics. After that was a slow decline until Lou left. Every Foreigner fan knows the true Foreigner band ended with Lou's departure. Mick no longer had that songwriting spark.

There are non-rock bands and individuals in the R&RHoF, but Foreigner, Peter Frampton, and others aren't.
    TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!!

Even in live chat comments get shadow-banned. But the only way to know is ask if the comment was seen. It`s just childish to torment users the way they do. It doesn`t even seem to make sense. Some days a STATE NAME can`t be typed! I can`t type certain names of individuals like our "leader."

  • @baneverything5580
    @baneverything5580 7 місяців тому +1

UA-cam`s childish random deletion of comments caused very bad problems between creators and subs too. Why would the creator of a weather channel delete messages that could save lives as the hurricane approached? They wouldn`t...but we all know who WOULD...and many of you know why...but subs mistakenly thought creators were doing these repulsive things on all sorts of channels and lost people and friends. Lives have been lost as well...LOTS OF THEM!

If you are speaking of the album in 91, after Inside Information, Unusual Heat....thet was Johnny Edwards.
    Much....much....better than Kelly Hanson.
    The album was pretty good.
Lou would have made it much better. AOR rock was not in fashion at that time.
The old guys...RUSH, GENESIS, YES, prog guys struggled.
Others of the 70s had already packed it in.

I'm one of those rare people who loves both Lou and Kelly Hansen. Saw Foreigner 3 years ago and it was really, really good.
I like both Dave and Sammy in and out of VH, as well. Gary Cherone was a bad fit... Great in Extreme, though.
