I like the mix of different materials and also the use of leftover stuff, nothing should go to waste! Beauty of the hobby. And that "motor-spinner-technique-thing" killed it :- )
I wish I'd seen this before I made my rope bridge with jute.............damn! Awesome build as always. I've pretty much binged your channels entire history now, really inspirational stuff thanks for sharing.
Very cool project! Only difference I could think of was making the stalagmites magnetic for more flexibility. Love the green pool idea. Could be acid or poison.
Thank you, I always find you have to trade realism for durability/playability. Finding a nice balance between them is the key to making cool terrain 🙂👍🏻 thank you for watching
New to your channel and binge watching all your videos. So many things added to my 'to make' list. I love the quality of your designs, there is always something that I have not seen done. Thank you.
Thank you very much 😀 I always find that you need to sacrifice durability/playability for realism, and finding ways to minimise that sacrifice helps you achieve pretty cool results. I'm pretty happy with them, they should prove useful in many ways 👍🏻🙂 thank you for watching
I like danger! I like the innovation, too. Cool ideas! I saw something someone else did, to snip a part of a tin can (or other ferrous metal) and make it flat, as an underlayment for a box. Magnets will then stick anywhere. One idea might to be, to put some tin or other thin ferrous metal underneath, instead of static magnets in the bottom, to make the area more variable.
That could be a great idea, I hadn't thought of that. This is why I love getting comments from my watchers, always leads to great shared ideas👍🏻🙂 thank you
Love that acid effect. I still haven't gotten around to trying out water effects, but you make it look so easy and effective. That braided wire technique on the rope bridge is a stroke of genius. I never would have thought of using a drill like that. It could also be used in making wire tree armatures and other substructures.
I am def making a bridge like yours, it looks really nice. I think I might do a 2nd as well with some missing or broken slats to make it look more dangerous. The point about 7 inches and movement speed is really smart, good call on making it that size.
Thinking ahead on these builds and getting the correct order of operations was crucial. Not like my usual "wing it and let's see what happens" approach 😅
I have an outhouse project coming up soon (it's a joke dice jail for a friend) and that stain idea for the stir sticks will be perfect, thanks for showing it!
You're welcome, those coffee stirrers ended up with two coats of my wash by the end. But it's an easy and effective way to get old looking wooden planks 🙂👍🏻 thanks for watching
@@irongryphon I soaked very long coffee stirrers and then bent them the way I wanted it gave me a solid curve, it took a few attempts to get it right. then I glued the planks across the hard part was I used match sticks as posts along the bridge and I cut little piece of chain with a loop on each side passed them over the match sticks and glued them in to place and to make them stiffer and more durable I ran superglue over the chain to stiffen it. I can't tell you how many attempts it took and how many various swear words I used to get it done but it looked great in the end. but yes I agree a really tricky thing to come up with. the way you did it here was very clever.
Woah Awesome episode :D I think it's the first time that I see you using magnets, I didn't expect that^^ Pure genious allowing loretelling again throught this kind of details :D Same goes for the measurement of theses two pieces, versatility :p Holy, you really get through making your rope x) Nice job! Nice video montage/editing :D I loved it!
Thanks dude 👍🏻😀 you've always got great things to say. Making pieces versatile and multi functional is what I usually aim for, a bit of forward planning goes a long way for these kind of builds 👍🏻Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching

Gotta find ways of saving time and using that waste, I'm quite a thrifty hobbyist 😅
The acid pool concept is really clever.
Great fresh idea for the bridge! Thanks for sharing!
And thank you for watching 👍🏻🙂 I think the bridge is my favourite
I wish I'd seen this before I made my rope bridge with jute.............damn!
Awesome build as always. I've pretty much binged your channels entire history now, really inspirational stuff thanks for sharing.
Thanks very much 🙂 hope my videos have given you some good ideas
Very cool project! Only difference I could think of was making the stalagmites magnetic for more flexibility. Love the green pool idea. Could be acid or poison.
Yep, making those magnetic would have been a good option 😅 but it was a impulse decision I made
Awesome. I was gonna mention the tin can, but someone has already suggested it. Also the pit looks a great place for a slime or ooze to chill in.
Cheers dude 😆 yea I expect to see a few oozes around that pit too
That rope bridge is stunning. Really detailed and realistic and just so nice to look at.
Thank you, I always find you have to trade realism for durability/playability. Finding a nice balance between them is the key to making cool terrain 🙂👍🏻 thank you for watching

Thank you.
Thanks dude 😀 I appreciate you watching. Glad to know I've inspired a few ideas too 👍🏻
There’s really something about your builds. They’re just awesome. These are as beautiful as the rest, even in all their super-dangerous-ness. 🙀🙀
Thank you very much 😀 I always find that you need to sacrifice durability/playability for realism, and finding ways to minimise that sacrifice helps you achieve pretty cool results. I'm pretty happy with them, they should prove useful in many ways 👍🏻🙂 thank you for watching
Two awesome builds mate. Your d&d games must be awesome!
Thanks bud, As soon as we're out of lockdown they will be 👍🏻😅
Green Slime!!!
Everyone loves abit of green slime...until you're in it 😅
these are great even for 1/12 figure displays.

Would that also work with the backing from a cheap magnetic whiteboard I wonder? *adds to shopping list*
I expect it would, and that's already flat and rigid enough to model your terrain on 👍🏻🙂 excellent plan
Oooh ooh! or a magnetic sheet from amazon or wherever....
@@AvocationNation - I didn't know you could get magnetic sheets, but I do now. #literalgamechanger
great work! i`m looking forward to see more videos!
Thanks dude 👍🏻🙂 I'm looking forward to making more

Thanks dude 👍🏻🙂 water effects is super scary at first but I've used it that much on this channel that its second nature now 🙂
RIGHT.
The twisting rope technique is fabulously clever.
You DO make things look a little too easy. These vids should come with disclaimers.
awesome work
Much appreciated 👍🏻 thanks for watching
Beautiful as always, my friend. Thanks for the inspiration ✌🏻
Cheers dude 👍🏻 glad I could inspire. Thank you for watching 😀

awesome stuff mate :D love the use of BB's for bubbles :) lol you could even make some magnetic tentacles to go on the goo pool :D love it
Oh I totally could , great idea 😀👍🏻

Thanks for your content, I just subscribed. Keep up the good work. 🍻
You're very welcome, and thank you for the sub. 👍🏻🙂
I built a chain Bridge wish I'd seen this first I'd have made the rope bridge instead! liked the pool too the ball bearings as bubbles where great
Trying to create a design for a rickety bridge that's actually very durable was quite tricky 😅

Ooze pit and stepping stones are very cool, but I specially liked how the bridge turned out.
Thanks very much, i can see both crossings getting quite a bit of use in the future 👍🏻😀
Hey :)
Hey dude 👍🏻🙂
