I can't believe the negative comments. 4 of last 5 women I have dated are blonde blue beautiful ladies. 1 with zero ink in her skin. Sara is absolutely gorgeous. I'm an infantryman vet. No disrespect to the American flag I wore proudly on my AcUs, in my eyes. Beautifully shot. Very tasteful, quick n easy.

Trivia Question:
What supermodel has a tattoo that is more valuable than a Ferrari and the best Leica and a 1970 bottle of Chateau Margaux? Kate Moss. The artist Lucian Freud drew a bird, maybe a swallow, on her lower back or upper bottom, then inked it.
I believe Ms. Moss had it insured for close to 2 million usd .... LOL
Lucian Freud's portrait paintings go for over 100 million usd these days. A prolific artist and prolific daddy -- apparently at least 20.

that is a GREAT idea! using italian food delivery to time your shoots! i know you've turned off your alarm on your podcasts, maybe you could introduce a food delivery (purple worm wine for Bec?) as your 'end of show' indicator...
you did a fabulous job and im a bit amazed that when you showed the first shot and thought you were 1-stop under, i thought the exact same thing. scary isnt it....

I too prefer the lower sharpness 'film' look however, it's interesting that that Hasselblad achieves that slightly over ISO 800. I have no experience with digital medium format cameras.

Thanks for sharing another good video Pete! Though im curious. Why do you compose and re-compose when neither you or thw model have moved forward or backward? Is that just a fail safe way of shooting for you to make sure you're getting more than what you might not?

Two questions: (1) You said the light off the floor was “too _________ “ (sounded like “Lairwich”?) (2) I've heard you say this several times, so sometime could you explain what you mean by skin looking “chromey”?

When he said "blairwitch" he meant that too much light was bouncing off the floor, producing a light style commonly used in old horror films, low light shooting up, like shooting the light from a flashlight up from under your chin. Now there was a dark rug in the room which could have soaked up the floor light, but this was a quick shoot. As for the skin being a bit "chromey", which you asked about, he had adjusted his settings to be a bit more subdued like Kodachome film in the old days. For many people Kodachrome was the colour pallette of their youth. It feels nice.
