I’m 21 and grew up listening to Dean Martin and I was definitely born at the wrong time. He was such a funny laid back guy, amazing entertainer. Such a charming handsome man. He wasn’t a drunk and annoys me when people say he was a drunk. It was his act! And it worked! He’ll forever be the best in my eyes and will always be missed ❤️.

If his pal Foster Brooks could appear very drunk on his show [that guy was a one trick pony] that doesn't mean Dean was drunk onstage either...he was acting. No one can perform week after week totally bombed on TV or stage. Except Jackie Gleason lol.

God where did the times like these go. I hate that I'll never get to live in a world where this was the norm. I'm not old, 35, but i recognize the world less and less everyday. It's weird to long and have nostalgia for a time that you yourself never even got to live in. Just letting my mind try and melt and imagine myself in these places in this time, feels like home in a way. Time should have stopped sometime in the 90s.

All the little things he does, f.i. little twists in his face are soooo funny, but of course you have to see him close up, I guess sitting in the theatre a lot of these little tricks will escape one, unfortunately. God, we miss him and we'll go on loving him.

Class act Dean (Dino). Even though his show was before my time I am enjoying watching for the first time. What a great time that must have been. For comparison: today PC environment would never allow The "gold diggers" ( a group of women back-up singers and dancers to Dean) to perform in this day and age…Back then we weren't worried about "micro aggressions" or offending someone with any jokes.There was no offense taken if men complimented women about their good looks and women feeling offended for it…The sexyness was palpable but it was normal stuff. Also there was no offense taken for joking about race or ethnicity. Let me go back in time just for a day! And thanks for uploading.

I have bought so much of his music over the years, I think I must have nearly everything, but somewhere on youtube is Deano singing 'Brother can you spare a dime', that great depression era tune. He sings it live in the 70's and really goes to town with his vocals right at the end, something he rarely did, and it was perfect. He must have been around 60 years old as well.
One of the greatest American entertainers of all time. A great man and great conservative patriot. Watching him gives hope for the future that perhaps the dark time we are in will pass again... and if not at least we can lose ourselves in this man's magic!
