I’m going through the same at the moment. Except I’m using my husband’s sperm. He stored them prior to chemo. Sadly he has passed away. But I want to continue his legacy. Hopefully I will have a successful cycle. Please pray for me.

Awww my heart was literally in my stomach watching this. I felt every emotion you felt having gone through it myself. We were fortunate enough to get pregnant second time with IUI but trying for baby number 2 has been a whole different level of stress. We did 6 IUI's, then moved on to IVF. We just had our 5th transfer end of last year with two embryos and it also didnt take. Now I'm scared to try again as we only have 4 embryos left. But regardless we must keep positive and hopeful that it will happen one day. No-one knows the journey we go through but I guarantee you now each failed attempt will only make you stronger and make you love your baby even more. All the best hun x

My heart broke when you showed all of those negative pregnancy tests lined up. I understand why some women can’t wait for the betas, but I personally don’t do tests at home ahead of time. Here’s how I do it:
I think to myself, if I have to wait until 9 days past transfer, that’s just 9 days that I can have the hope that I am pregnant and have positive thoughts and happiness. That way, if the beta turns out negative, then at least I had 9 days when I was happy and hopeful, rather than sad and discouraged every day seeing those negative tests.
Pamela Hogan that’s such a great tip of advice! I’m so impatient, but this time around I’m going to think positively and just try to make it those few days until my beta
IVF babies are a no-no. Making babies in a petri dish is against nature. Mommy and daddy conceive you in a doctor's lab. That's so unromantic and gross.
@@LaoSoftware I can assure you with 100% of confidence that if the people doing IVF could do it the "romantic" way, they would. Ugh. So insensitive of you.
ALSO. Not natural? LOL I guess diabetics shouldn't use insulin, and people dying from COVID shouldn't be put on respirators. I mean, where's the nature in that am i right.

HI Emily, I am Cecilia, 34 yo, a NUrse. Been married for 7 years now. Weve been trying recently but no success. As you know my job is tough as hell and very stressed. In fact I dropped my job offer in Europe just to be with my husband so that we can have a baby. People dont know what we are going through that they insensitively ask you "when are you going to have baby?" . Thats what I felt the most LOW PART of my life. Those people in my life, who dont even had contributions of who i am today, has been blocked literally. I really dont need em. I just prayed that they wont try and experience what Ive through.

Good luck I am wishing you baby dust. I did IVF I am 33 weeks preggo with my son. We transferred one embryo and he stuck.
We are now dealing with what to do with our remaining embryos.
I am wondering what your opinion is on embryo adoption?? No one talks about that.

I'm so sorry💔... i just came across your video. I'm starting IVF injections next week and am going through a roller coaster of emotions right now. I have Endometriosis as well and I had to get two surgeries to correct it 4 years ago. I'm sending prayers your way🙏 and I truly hope it works for you the second time around.

@@keechul91 well I had my egg retrievel friday..... 15 retrieved, 13 matured and 6 fertilized soooo we shall see🤞. Hopefully by next week they will give us an update about our little embryos

Just now seeing your video. I’m praying for you for strength and baby dust! My husband and I went through 3 rounds of IVF, had a miscarriage with the 3rd cycle and it was so hard. We took a break and four months later conceived naturally. We are officially 14 weeks today. Didn’t think it would happen to me even though I heard this can happen, but just keep the faith. God’s timing is better than ours!

Hi there, how are you doing?
I have stage 4 endo and had it all excised it was a 5 hour surgery plus two more surgeries to remove endo polyps
I’ve been in debilitating pain since s pre teen and took 19 years to diagnose me
We are still trying to get pregnant naturally.. has one failed IUI
I have a gut feeling it won’t happen unless we do Ivf

Amanda We tried for 5 years naturally when we started IVF! I totally understand the feeling of the cost, it’s definitely expensive but hopefully will be worth it!

Thank you so much for sharing your story about your journey. I’m so sorry to hear that your first round of IVF didn’t work. My heart goes out to you. My husband and I did 3 IUI treatments last year that didn’t work and it was absolutely devastating. We’re planning on doing our first IVF this summer and I’m so anxious to start.

I searched for IVF videos because I’m considering to do it myself. Just two months ago I had my first failed IUI and what hurt me the most was getting a false positive at home pregnancy test. I was doing so well with dieting & preparing my body any way I could & I thought to myself how lucky I am because I don’t have blocked tubes or endometriosis that I was so sure with a little extra help from my clinic washing my husbands sperm I was so sure it would work. That when I saw that pregnancy test I fell to my knees in disbelief that it worked when really it didn’t work at all & what’s crazy is it felt like I had a miscarriage because like you said a loss is a loss & not only did I lose hope I lost myself because of pain I felt from such a cruel trick that I felt was played on me. So watching your video I want you to know that I feel your pain and every tear your shedding in this video I’m shedding one with you. I know your heart & the pain I’m right there with you❤️ our time will come! And I lm praying your next transfer works.🙏🏼

Currently going through this andnits been two years the doctors dont know whats going on. And keep making me wait and its so exhausting and hard. I didnt know how many people there are hurting in the same way. Thank you for sharing

God doesn't always want u to have a child though ist he thing. I we can't demand children. Thy r a gift, not a right. Why don't u try adoption? If u really want to be a parent, adoption will work. If u just wanttoexperience pregnancy then it's about you and u might want to reconsider ur motives. Adopted children becomes urs through love.
Because in many countries you cannot adopt a child that easy and for many people it is not possible. I’m surprised reading how relatively easy it is to do in the US vs Europe for example. Also it might that one of the partners is not willing to adopt.

I want to start off by saying thank you for sharing your story. I too suffer from infertility. I've recently had laprosopy surgery to see if my fallopian tube is open. I had a etopic pregnancy 2015. With that pregnancy, I lost my right tube. Since, my husband and I have been trying to conceive on our own. With my recent laprosopy surgery this year my last tube was opened after doing hsg while I was under anesthesia. My husband and I was told to try on our own for two months and if no success, IVF is the next step. I have been non-stop so anxious to start our journey. I will say with seeing this video, I feel like I'm not alone. I pray you and your husband have a successful transfer soon. May us both be sprinkled with baby dust ♥️🤰 Sending positive energy your way

I remember i saw two people on the news they were talking about their experience they always wanted kids but never got a chance they waited 17 years and after those years the woman got pregnant with twins ... i know its very hard for you to go through all of this but most importantly you should be thankful your husband is a great man for staying by your side and always stay happy you’re a wonderful person i wish you the best❤️

After my egg retrieval there was a lot of pressure around my ovaries, so it made it hard to stand up and walk for a couple days. I also tend to get migraines after anesthesia so I had to deal with a migraine afterwords and the following day.
The embryo transfer is not painful at all! They gave me Valium so the only thing I felt was the speculum going in.
I didn’t personally experience too much besides extreme hunger during one of the injections. I had to eat every couple hours or I would be so hungry that it hurt. So I kept a lot of food & snacks in the house to help with that!

It’s interesting that you say “it’s not just a one and done thing”….I didn’t realise how MANY people think that you have IVF and that’s it, you’re pregnant until I started going through the process myself lol. People would say “oh, so when will you have the baby?” And I would ask “what do you mean?” And they genuinely didn’t understand that a transfer can fail.

My cousin has endometriosis! Unfortunately she didn't find out untill later in life. Good news is she had 4 successful pregnancy! If it can happen for her there's a good chance it will happen for you!! Don't give up and don't loose hope!! I personally don't know how it feels to struggle with this i did have a misscarage at 18 only to have a successful pregnancy later on in my mid 20s i conceived at 24 and had my baby at 25. When there's a will theres a way. ❤

I have deep infiltrating endo, and Adenomyosis. What do you mean by scarring in your uterus? endo happens outside the uterus, can you explain that more? I want to ask my doc to make sure I dont have it too before starting stims! thank you so much for this video Emily! I'm definitely subbing

It’s true that IVF could be time- and energy-consuming. From administering injections, having regular checkups to undergoing various medical procedures, IVF is a complex process that involved many steps.
However, seeing the support you get from your hubby is just amazing! Kudos for both of you for staying together in this challenging time! We really hope that this video will inspire many women struggling with infertility to continue their journeys to parenthood - either the natural or the assisted way.
I sat there for ten minutes trying to force my brain to let me put the pen in and I felt my body start to shake.... You've got guts!
I know the feeling for 3 years and every month is worse and worse for me.

6 AA IS NOT THE BEST. It just means the the embryo is hatched because it needed more time to develop. 5AA its starting to hatch, but ideally doctors prefer 4AA blastocyst so that the embryo can "hatch" inside the womb instead. The letters are what determines "good" and "bad" embryos. So any AA's are considered good embryos as opposed to a CC.
Just wanted to share that.

Why did you doctor say to do surgery? My doctor suspected at the HSG that I have endometriosis but he says that IVF is recommended when you have endo so he didn't want to do surgery unnecessarily. I am starting IVF in April 2021 without going in and doing surgery but now I'm wondering if my doctor should....Of course everybody is different. You are so brave for sharing your story thanks a lot for doing this!!
I had surgery to remove any scar tissue to help with implantation. It is very common to have one done beforehand to ensure nothing is in the way for the embryo to successfully implant

I had deep rooted endometriosis and had surgery on in 2019. My pain was severe though so I knew something was wrong. I'm glad you got it treated. For me it led to pmdd. I am working up the nerve to start IVF I just don't wanna go through the rounds of appointments and shots! Glad you got it caught before the symptoms came in if they did.
