Nate’s live vocals forever send shivers down my spine. I love his voice so much! I mean, i love all of their vocals. But Nate is such a beautiful layer to this sonic sandwich. Really carries that gnar caleb bass sound going so strongly! Zozobra forever! Doomriders forever! Fucking love that i get to be alive to listen to all these beautiful bands do their thing.

I honestly can not believe there is a decibel limit there. I have a feeling that I would be murdered by every sound guy if I ever toured Europe for hitting drums too loud lol

I never understand how bass player never change the bass during the set while the songs are in different tuning. Can someone explain it to me?

A bass player usually only tunes down if the 'E' needs to go lower on the scale, otherwise, unless you're playing chords on a bass you are (instead) typically accenting chords that are being played on other instruments; an 'E' major chord in standard tuning (E/A/D/G/B/E) on a guitar can be the notes: E/B/E/G#/B/E -- but you could tune the guitar differently and an 'E' chord structure could inevitably change along with it, and then you're getting into how tight or loose your strings are, and if they're too thick or too thin or coiled too much with the wrong metals (yada yada yada) and this is where Korn or Adrian Belew supernerds would explain some stuff that I'd have to look at my GuitarWorlds from 1998 to research... Anyway, a bassist is usually hitting (and sustaining or moving around) any note within the range of those chord notes in hopes of accenting the collective intention in making pretty sounds, not much need in rolling the pegs, other than to stay in tune... Just hit any note, pretty much and roll with it... bassists make everyone nervous... (of course, I play bass, and yes I can't sleep right now).

Oh man I didn’t know Paris had these db limits…how do you actually play there?..

It's a struggle but bands and soundpersons always make it work somehow.
