Your cosplay is epic. It's so odd to me being a fan of OG Trigun as well, the height difference Vash underwent stylistically. I think you're right that Stampede makes him probably just over 6 ft., but I think canonically he's a 7ft.+ string bean. 😅
I think I read somewhere that Vash is 185cm (6 feet?) and Wolfwood is 188, but I could be wrong
i can't speak for vash's height in the 98 anime, but when i was looking at trimax panels for reference it looks like vash is slightly taller than wolfwood (although it is hard to tell exactly how tall he is when he wears his hair sticking up). they're both tall, but not freakishly tall, which is where my ~6ft estimate came from.
Vash teecchnically has no canon height bc all the numbers a ridiculously miscalculated lol. I’ve seen estimates of 6ft to 6”7’
Your cosplay is amazing omg you did a phenomenal job! Thank you so much for sharing these tips with us too! Im hoping to make Vash my first complete homemade cosplay so hopefully it turns out even a fraction as good as yours!
thanks! vash is an ambitious project for a first cosplay but good luck!
@@breadondeck You are super welcome! And yeah for sure his design is very complicated but Im just striving for something to feel proud of. Just came back from another con and had so many malfunctions from bought cosplays so Im finally putting my foot down. Thank you so much for your encouragement btw 😭
But yea I really enjoy how informative and funny your content is. So happy youtube recommended me your channel and Im looking forward to seeing more. Cheers!
I use CA glue (super glue) and spray on some accelerator on the gloves. Works pretty well for all the finger details I had to do
This is awesome. I'm working on this costume right now for a Con next month and, while I'm not attempting the arm at the moment, I decided to make the holster, which will be my first foray into foam and I'm both excited and terrified. I'm also attempting my first wig for this as I have super long brown hair. Will definitely be marking this video for tips as well as for when I do decide to tackle the arm build 🙊
awesome! i'm glad i could help. if you have any questions about anything, feel free to dm me on instagram or drop another comment on this video! and don't worry too much about the foam, it's actually a pretty easy and forgiving material to work with, especially with something that's a simple structure like the holster.
@@breadondeck Thanks; really appreciate it!
6:37 I LUAGHED SO HARD
i had mad allergies all week and i was hoping to get a sneeze on camera during the photoshoot, but of course with my luck i didn't sneeze once until i got home lol
AHHHHHH YOUR COSPLAY IS SO GOOD!!! You did such a good job with it!! :DDDD
help, the reference to Vash's sneeze in the show XDDD
You started playing the piano and I immediately felt a pang in my chest :"DDDD
Nice cosplay, i love it
This is so cool! I’m putting together a Vash cosplay myself, and seeing your process is very inspiring. The end result is amazing! Thanks for sharing, love your vids
oh my god those pictures SLAP that is such a good cosplay you look amazing, I always admire all the work that goes into cosplay but I'm always too scared to try it ahaha
I want those glasses so bad ngl also THE SNEEZE ahsdjkahda bless you!
YOU GAVE VASH FANGS THAT SOOO CUTE !! you look amaaazing!!
thank you!! his fangs are so prominent in the manga and i think they add so much to the uncanny vash look, so i had to include them
@@breadondeck yesss love uncanny vash so much
I loveeeeee ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
thanks so much!
OMG!! THE COSPLAY LOOKS SO GOOD!!! Why can't I give more than one Like 😂🫶✨
I'm thinking about doing a Cosplay and well, the character itself doesn't seem that hard to pull off, but I've never done a Cosplay in my life so I'm scare haha
Is Philip from Kamen Rider W (the OG Show, not the Anime)
And your video have pump up my disire to do it. I only need to actually start working on it 😂
I'm sure the thing that is going to be the hardest part is the W Belt. But man, I really want to do it. I even convice a Friend to be Shotaro!
(Also... I 100% Recomnd Kamen Rider W. I feel like you would have fun with it)
the best way to get into cosplaying is just to get started! your first cosplay will always be a little rough because no matter how prepared you think you are, there is a steep learning curve and there will be unforeseen challenges to overcome, but it's such a fun hobby that anybody can do :)
VAAASHHH
my first rule of cosplay is to get as much as you can from thrift stores! you can often find low-price pieces that are pretty close to what you need and might only need a little bit of alteration. it's a much more cost- and time-effective way to get your base pieces, and it gives you more space to add the details and personalized elements that really elevate the cosplay.
Ahhh this is so awesome!
thank you ! ^_^
i have replayed the goofy sound effect video an embarassing amount of times
me too
I LOVE IT!
thank you !!
