    AS AN OLD RADIO INSTALLER I SEE THAT IT IS PRETTY STRAIGHT FORWARD. MY ISSUE IS WHERE TO GET A REPLACEMENT? AND WILL IT NEED ANY REPROGRAMMING? I looked on GM Parts site and it stated 'Not available'! I did see some on Ebay, or Amazon used. for a reasonable price. What do you advise for a replacement? Thanks and despite the heavy accent, I understood every word you said. OK

I have an issue with my screen that you are taking out but the screen I can actually see the info in certain light it seems like the illumination part of the display a wire is loose or something and the display in-between the gauges went out at the same time, has me baffled. cheers

    5 years they had this car and replaced everything haha. I can confirm the car is trash I have the same one and can't get rid of it. Heating fans are glitchy, engine code after engine code, dash screen not working.

      i have a 2013 cruze (had 17k miles) that i got as salvage unit with rear damage and spent total $5000 on it including fixing damage .
      its 2020 and i still have it. 72k miles and only changed brake pads, oil changes. thats it
      never had a single issue with it

      @@Rustykid ya man. i got almost 80k on it now. has a check engine light. some turbo sensor or some shit but im not fixing it lol. its runs pretty good. i dont drive much anymore so will probably take me 4 years to get to 100k then i will let it go.it will be 11 years of ownership by then. not bad investment of 5k.

      @@zaidchalabi1599 my check english has been on for a couple months now. i think it’s something wrong with the transmission but it hasn’t broken down yet lol

    • @kensilver3959
      @kensilver3959 3 роки тому

      @@Rustykid I had the same with codes for transmission coming on constantly, but the transmission was actually ok no issues at all. Chevrolet dealer said to replace the electronic actuators "solenoids" in the transmission at a cost of $1,300 , I sad no don't worry about it.. so I drained the oil and replaced with the approved oil and reset and have not had a code or an issue since and that was 2 years ago.To be honest I think the oil is the issue, maybe if it was a different brand it might be better. I also have an Nissan Maxima 3L v6 that actually the auto plays up in traffic when its stationary for a long time ,I usually pull to a side street and wait about 15 mins and its ok again. The problem with it is the speed censor behind the filter in the transmission is no good at a cost of $23 I should fix it but I think the actual cause of that issue it that it needs an electric cooling fan for the transmission oil when it sits in traffic. Just my thoughts .
