I dont know why everyone is talking of a delay. Apple never announced them hence they are not delayed. If all those “experts” saying they are coming and then dont come, its not a delay from Apple but rather wrong information from the “experts”
I think the idea is that it is a diversion from the typical 18 month schedule, hence “delayed”. But you’re right, it could have been the plan all along, hence not truly a delay from Apple’s perspective

False the people behind the scenes in the tech industry have stated it was delayed by Apple. It’s not just the software update it’s also manufacturing yields and parts of the new OLED displays.

What about the 80% charging limit? That's really necessary if you're using the iPad pro connected to an external display to reduce battery strain and excessive charge cycles

5:28 You can certainly check the battery capacity and battery cycle count on iPads!
It's just a little complicated as you have to switch on data analysis and then search the text file for those key words.
My 2018 Pro, which I got used in November was on 89% with 420 cycles and runs very good.

Few months back, when I was about to join medical college for MBBS, I used to watch ipad and good notes videos.
I literally was imagining how will I set up my first ipad.....I will make notes on good notes, use notion, good notes vs notability, how will my ipad's home screen look, so on.....
I thought I will convince my parents to have one (As I cleared one of the toughest competitive exam ie NEET), but sadly we couldn't afford that😢

So, I am thinking about buying the iPad Pro for my upcoming SAT, and for the future too, specifically. The main reasons go out to smoothness and the latest tech implementation, that I've always appreciated. Used to own an iPad Air back a decade ago, as I've always been fond of these products, keeping in mind their business strategies, of course. Albeit I don't have such friends or people to guide me about stuff and I always research stuff thoroughly using my skills to make the best decision, I would definitely like some genuinely useful tips from current users in order to save time. This is going to be my next Apple device straight from the previous one, so I'm a bit excited for sure...
I highly recommend to get a used 2018 Pro.
They're not really much different to even the latest M2s and I'd guess even the upcoming M3s.
I got one for €350 in November, it's fast and the battery life is still amazing (89% battery health after 420 cycles from the previous owner).
Not really looking for used ones, but cool

I was waiting for these new versions but looks likely they will be problematic (as new models first batches frequently are). I probably will go with the last model at a good price.

I think squeeze could be used on apple pencil to draw thick and thin lines(could be due to new apple pencil tips).

I preferred the iPad mini for Vision Pro content creation for the form factor. Still, a large iPad Pro with improved cameras, especially for correct stereoscopic spacing for the spatial cameras, would be excellent in addition to the spatial video editing app.

About the delays, I think if now we are into a May release, then it will probably hold off till the June conference. Also, I prefer the delay and obtain a perfect product than an early release with bugs and issues.

The delay was already annoying after such a time gap since the IPad M2 was released, but it seems that Apple hasn’t worked much on improving battery life, the biggest problem with all the Apple hardware. Maybe I should wait until another model comes out, as with the exception of its battery, my Ipad 2020 still makes it

My 2018 iPad battery is draining too fast so I needed the new iPad to come out if not in March then April, now who knows when it will come out? My iPad is as necessary to me as my iPhone.
If that's your only gripe, a simple battery replacement will breath new life into it.

Double tapping the pencil feels very janky. I prefer clicking a button on the S Pen. Having force sensing will be the best of both worlds.
As someone who owns the apple pencil you’re absolutely right. The amount of times that I accidentally switch between pencil and eraser when I’m just adjusting my grip is crazy, I’d rather just have a button

You do NOT show your charts and graphics (especially ones with text) long enough -it's especially aggravating when you cut back to your face -as though we need to see your face for longer or more than the data you are showing. Many times I do not even have time to read the text you are highlighting. Your audience is not impatiently waiting for a cut back to you -the data you are showing is MORE important.

I still don't get it why a minority of tech geeks want to turn a tablet into a MacBook Pro Air? A tablet simply isn't made for professionals who want to do video editing or heavy load stuff. And why spent ridiculous amounts of money to an iPad Pro and keyboard and pencil and other accessories that all bundled in the (relatively?) cheaper MacBook Pro line? Apple is completely barking up the wrong tree with the iPad in terms of strategy and pricing. It is simply outmanoeuvering itself from the already shrinking tablet market for the 99% potential majority of users.

I wait the new Magic Keyboard for my iPad Pro 12.9 inch. I don’t buy their current version because it does not have function keys. It does have back key lightning. As for the keyboard for iPad 10 it does have function keys but does not have key lightning. Whomever designed those keyboards must be a stupid person, so I wait for the new keyboards
