I appreciate you comment. It let me know I would not be able to handle this story as I have just listened to Lighthouse Horrors reading of "I'm a cable guy in a strange town" and im not over Scratches yet.😭
Aw, _hell_ no... I'm sure it's a very good story, but I just can't. I can listen to a human being vivisected in the next room, but if it's an animal, even in a fictional story, it will ruin the next week for me. Yes, my therapist is aware. So, anyway... I'm going to sit this one out and go listen to some animal-friendly true crime stuff.
That is not the opening line of an introduction you ever want to hear. 'I'm a peeper' just immediately sends the mind spiraling. I think referring to it as people watching carries less of a blow. It associates it more with loneliness than perversion I guess even if it's the same thing at a base level. It definitely grabbed my attention for the story and this is a good one.
To be fair the guy was doing waaay more than people watching. Like, way more to the point of obsessing over them for hours a day and daydreaming about various things he would never be apart of. It doesn't matter if it's perversion or not it's still very very creepy. People like that need help.
@@awsomewolfman124 Oh of course but even if you are a creeper opening with 'I am a bit of a people watcher' is less likely to have a new acquaintance exit stage left than just outright proclaiming you are a peeper. The whole scenario is over the top and fanciful. I just like to relate elements of protagonists to real world scenarios. It can turn any horror into a Monty Python esq comedy within seconds. I think tales from the gas station corrupted me a bit with the flawless injection of comedy into my daily dose of nightmare fuel.
'People watching' implies it's done in public and in passing, like watching a guy walk down the aisle in the grocery store and thinking "you look like your name is Brandon" and then going on with your day. 'Peeping Tom' implies that it's watching people in their homes and trying to see them naked or in other very private moments.
Why not think that he didn't mean any harm to anyone? Just looking what Cooper was up too 🙀.. happy to be somehow part of a family in his own way.... UNTIL crazy guy 🤪 moved in
I really like the change in perspective in this story. It's usually quite cheesy in my opinion but this author did it in a way that I thought was really clever.
To hell with that guy for what he did to the cat. When you partially pull the slide back on a handgun to check the chamber, it’s called a “press check”, I believe. Also, gunshot wounds to the gut usually don’t cause a quick death; if they hit the aorta in front of your spine, you’ll bleed out. Nowadays, gunshot wounds to the gut are treatable, in the old days, probably not.
There’s so much going on in that part of the body, it really just depends on what ends up getting hit. Especially 3 shots with a 9mm that probably won’t have enough power to exit but just bounce around inside instead. Could kill you in a couple minutes, or you could be just fine after getting to a hospital within an hour or two. There’s just no guarantee when it comes to gut shots.

I love the crazy turns in all your narrations. Listening to the new one now. I really awesome so far, Thanks for doing what you do. Your in my top 3 on you tube
Deeply unsettling but also touching! The idea of a ghost being a fusion of organic and inorganic material is scary as can be: Hill House had something like that too with the man who had a car horn instead of screams (he was in a crash) and the ghost of a woman with headlight beams for eyes. Cooper is like a kinder rendition of that, but still chilling! The perp reminds me of Dandy from AHS, too... Little bastard.
Marvelous narration of this unusual, mysterious, rather tragic horror story by A_Hawaiian_Shirt! Unique in that either a prequel or sequel would prove extremely interesting indeed. As always, your voice work, backgrounds and subtle music put the video a cut above. Only "bad part" is I have to force myself to wait until I can sit and watch but I do because it adds so much to the experience I prefer to give my undivided attention. Awesome story. One of those that really sneaks up on you. Beginning seemed a little slow but once you get into it pieces start to click together in the second half. Awesome story and very clever plot line. To put it short, this was an amazing story with an excellent narration. Excellent work on the behalf of both the author and narrator. This is the kind of work that makes lighthouse my favorite. Lighthouse and Mr Creeps are both amazing but in different ways. Mr creeps does stories every day and has a channel devoted to true stories. These days Mr Creeps has a third channel that has to do with mysteries and urban legends. That being said lighthouse is every bit as amazing because of the quality of work in not only the stories he picks, but the quality of his narrations and voice portrayal of characters in them. Lighthouse also does longer and more involved stories on a more frequent basis. Either way, Lighthouse and Mr Creeps are my top two favorites and it's really hard to choose between them because it's not a competition. They are both amazing and I can't compare peaches to broccoli. I simply love both. Lighthouse has the win though for having the best stories and narrations on a frequent basis. Mr Creeps puts out equally as good stories, but not as often as lighthouse does. Then again I can't really say that's a bad thing because Mr Creeps uploads daily. This is why I really can't pick. I can't expect Mr Creeps to put that amount of quality when he's pumping out so much content. Just listen I can't expect lighthouse to pump out stories every day when he puts so much quality into his work. With both I get the best of both worlds. Getting to listen to Mr Creeps everyday and getting an especially good treat when lighthouse puts one out. Sorry this is getting kind of long. Love to lighthouse.
