I wish there was a dark somnium, mrcreepypasta and lighthouse horror collab. In my opinion the 3 greatest story narrators on UA-cam.
Stephen. You are a million % on target 🎯🤩. What a Day that would be... Absolutely mind boggling.👍🤔❤️💖💕
Facts
Omg yes
Absolutely. Except MCP is tied for 3rd with CreepsMcPasta for me.
He'd be my favorite if he could PICK a volUME! Lol. Seems like he's either mumbling and I can't hear him, or he's suddenly shouting so loudly I have to turn the volume down....
....then back up....then back down....lol.
Currently Lighthouse is #1
Idk y'all... I think Stephen blows them all right out the water. I might be biased 💁🏻♀️
This reminds me of the old rule in Scouting about how to interact with nature; leave only footprints, take only pictures. Much harder to accidentally summon an ancient evil if you don't give it a blood sacrifice.
Every time I hear your voice I expect to hear "Travis my boy". King creoles' half priced voodoo shop is by far my favorite story.
🙂
Same here!! King Creole’s was the first story I heard from Lighthouse Horror and is my fav, and now I always expect to hear that every time a character has a similar voice. 😅
100% agreed "TRAAAAVIIIISSSS..."
Omg and here I was thinking I was the only one that missed that story
Hands down , the King Creole story should definitely be a movie.
Principal really sees two guys running out of the bathroom covered in gashes and goes "yeah, fake blood, what're you gonna do?"
Still playing catch-up with your older stories, but I love to cozy up with a blanket and hot cup of tea and get lost in your storytelling. I get the nostalgic feeling of those old radio programs before there was television. You really know how to bring the suspense and terror out of each tale. Thank you so much for bringing story time back for the "older" kids. 😉
🙂 thank you Sylvia!
Absolutly right and pleasant thank you for this nice story
That's what his narrations remind me of also and I've said that several times but never read anyone else that thought that or even seen to know what I was talking about. 😅
Same. Darksomnioum, lighthouse horror mr creeps and mr ballen all together..telling ther very real horrors that are in the reality we live in but to which most are blind or evil to see the truth.
This one was a creepy one for sure. I couldn't imagine anyone telling this story but the Lighthouse.
NO story is the same when narrated by The Lighthouse.
THE Lighthouse!!!
My 4yr old is obsessed with the nightmare before Christmas, I think I shouldn't tell him about this skeleton Jack...
love that movie!
I'm still making it through the older videos but I love your narrations literally the best on UA-cam or any other platform
thanks Dragon!
There all great! I'm fully caught up that's the great thing about binging and the sad part :(
Just a fun fact. The Salem witch trials occurred over just a few years and totaled 12 trials. Making the Salem witch trials approximately 1/10th as deadly in their totality as any weekend in Chicago.
and many men were accused of witchcraft too and killed
Okay but how many people lived in Salem vs Chicago?
120 deaths per weekend in Chicago?
What part of Chicago are you living in? I've lived here my whole life and it's nothing like what people who don't live here think it is. Theres many cities on the list way worse than chicago but yall love to say "but whatabout chicago". Whenever you want to deflect from your communities problems you say "but chicago". You probably don't even live there and are just programmed to say chicago. Name dropping chicago let's me know that you have no idea what cities are bad you just parrot what fox news and those other fools say. There are some bad areas just like any city but yall seem to think that it's the wild west over here. I'm more concerned about "regular" people deciding to go on a shooting spree because they're having a bad day than I am about gangbangers killing other gangbangers. More innocent people have been killed by "regular" people than by gangbangers. Hell if you're not in a gang you're safer in the hood than in the "safe" suburbs. If you haven't done anything to them then they aren't looking at you but in the suburbs it doesn't matter they'll just kill you because you're there
@Alabaster green I have spent time working in some of the lost dangerous cities in the world and that is how it feels everywhere. You're usually okay until suddenly you're not.
I remember walking in the woods near my house and suddenly feeling surrounded by this almost imperceptible, high-pitched ringing. A feeling of utter dread filled me, and I knew something was behind me. I turned around and there was a bizarre, stunted maple tree with a huge, blackened hole in the side of it. That noise and dread seemed to come from that hole. It was the middle of the day, bright and sunny, and that hole was as black as night inside. I ran home, and was never able to find that tree again.
Did that really happen
@@LVD3NS Yes. I have searched all over for that tree, and never found it. I didn't walk past it, but there it was, about 5 feet right behind me. I should have been able to see into that hole, but it was just pure blackness. It was like the tree was screaming. The hole was at ground level, and was almost the same height as me. This was only about 3 years ago, so it wasn't me getting freaked out as a little kid.
Frog in Progress, when will you become a finished frog?
@@kspoo10_ when they find the tree
Might be ant waste. When I was a kid, we had a tree full of ants and they would carry little chunks of chewed wood and other waste and throw it out, but it would pile up and cover the surface with a "dark black" almost tar looking substance.
Great story! I'm from Mass myself and I absolutely LOVE old timey tales about settlers and the history of old New England ☺ Awesome delivery!
💙❤💜
I feel like this could be made into like a horror movie, gives me "color out of space" vibes. The narration also gives a great vibe overall!
"In our town it was called skeleton Jack"
Are you sure it wasn't Jack Skellington? Because everyone knows that guy
The real story behind Skeleton Jack's agony is he was just tired of the same old routine year after year.
He was just longing for something that was out there somewhere far from home.
He just had an emptiness inside of his bones. His cries were just him desiring something new, something unknown.
He's expressing his desires through his empty tears
I learned many years ago not to mess with strange looking trees from watching Ferngully, that's where they had imprisoned Hexus. LOL. Great story as always
Oh. Hell. No.
I’m 41 and STILL am too terrified to do “BloodyCandyJack” or whatever version is popular now days. Nope. Why risk it? It’d *just* be my luck it would be real…
Great job my friend- thanks so much, love!!
Sara Helton, you and me both!
Ok but idea:
We get two mirrors. Call Bloody Mary in one and Candyman in the other. We make 'em fight.
I know that is rite 😅😅😅😅 I won't do it either 😮😮
I won't even step foot in a ring of mushrooms lest the fae take me. I don't like to see myself as superstitious, but a lot of those old superstitions give me the creeps anyway.
Oh man a Lighthouse Story about the woods!!! My favorite sub genre of horror is forest horror stories, not to mention small town horror stories! Best of both worlds, You're the man! As soon as I can get my 3 year old to bed in 2 hours I'll be back for the horror!!!
awesome!
@@LighthouseHorror You're the best my man!
@@Nyctonaut yup 👍. Ur totally 💯 right.☺️❤️
Hi Stephen! Unbelievable new horrific story! Thanks so much
Thanks for listening Rosslinda!
This reminds me back in the 1950s when I was a kid we would listen to stories on the radio this definitely brings back memories.
Just got out of the mental hospital and this was such a nice thing to come back to
awesome! thanks for listening Cay!
Hope you're doing ok😊
Mood, hope you're doing okay
2 years since this comment, I hope you're doing good
If you ask me to carve my name on some demonic-looking tree in the middle of the woods, the only social pressure is that you can socially pressure deez nuts, I’m not carving the tree😂😂
🤣
I'm obsessed!!! I quit listening to your videos at night because I LOVE LOVE LOVE actually watching them.
Edit: it's ok the hundred acre wood is where Pooh bear and friends live it'll be ok
Ooh is the background music “Come little children”? I love that song!
Bless you Lighthouse, your hard work means so much to so many including me of course!😔🐾❤️
"Named after the great Satchel Paige..."
Damn! That's a deep cut, and I love it!
Great story! I grew up in the area, attended Salem State College, and I work at the apartment complex literally across the street from where the Salem witches were hung. There is an abandoned cemetery next to my house where descendants of the “witches” were buried in a private plot. It’s sad because the cemetery entrance is in the middle of the woods, meaning there is no good access. The headstones are broken or missing. It makes me sad to see this.
Ngl, nature horror is my fave subgenre. Wether it be the ocean, a forest, or the mountains, there's something about nature that gives off a naturally foreboding aura that I really love!!
Part 351 of thanking the lighthouse horror for their constant uploads
thank you!
I love this story, it was so well-written, I love the set-up and the pacing, as well as the descriptions. And the ending was perfect. I was mesmerized.
You are an absolute machine. I am so grateful that you do this for us. Much much much 💜 to you, my friend.
Hey lighthouse just wanted to say that this creepypasta is awesome! I love the connections to the real life Salem witch trials
Thank you sooo much for posting another story!! We really appreciate everything you do!! 🎉🎊🎉🎊
thanks for listening!
When you don’t post a new story I am forced to listen to the lesser channel at bedtime “Let’s read “and no one wants to listen to that!
@@LighthouseHorror Sir!!
You are such an Amazing narrator!!!! Your Skillz speak for themselves. Your hard work shows, Every time you " do ur thang". Thanx 😀👍💖

Thank you for making my night so much better! ❤️ 😊
You are so welcome!
I've REALLY MISSED waking up to the flash from the lighthouse., So glad I finally did tonight!! Been FOREVER since I've thrown a co comment up. Been spending too much time at the hospital., So while I'm home for a couple of days and I'm able to had to take the opportunity to say thank you for the great job you do and for the stories that you share. Tonight's story felt like only 15 minutes LOL always get drawn in so easily and so does my girl because she was listening to the "maybe national parks" stories and totally burned dinner., So last night was pizza instead of meatloaf., ( For which I'm also grateful 😅): keep bringing the fire my man
thanks Chance!
Damn Lighthouse, back at it again with the wicked narration! 😉
Seriously though, awesome job. You are my all-time favorite narrator! 💖
I swear I don’t know how you do it…every story I read I sit and think “there’s no way he can get any better…being the UA-cam God an all”….then i read your next story and my mind is totally blown…again!!! I know I say it to you constantly but it’s because I mean it so sincerely…you have a God-given gift and I thank you so much for sharing it with all of us. You make my day, every day…thank you! Love you! 😘❤️🔥💯👏🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Pssst: It's called " The Lighthouse Horror effect" and it's quite common. To be honest, you are addicted, but lucky for you the only known side effects are procrastination and severe cravings... ^^ 🙃👋
I’ve had the flu all week and your channel has kept me company, thank you.
I know this may seem odd.
Thank you for your videos! I love each story & your voice is calming & helps me go to sleep. ❤
When I don't listen to you, I either don't sleep, or have horrific nightmares. So again, thank you!❤
Wonderful.... As I settle down for bed looking out my bedroom at the Plymouth Rock..... oOoOOff. Not my best choice of bedtime stories.
Unfortunately, today and the following days I'll be spending time at the hospital due to pulmonary embolisms, four tobe more specific and thanks to you, I'm in my room listening to your stories and forgetting about my illness....Thank you so much!
100 acre forest? No, he's going to scare Winnie the Pooh! 100 acre forest, 100 acre wood same thing.
I really enjoyed your video
Your pretty good at storytelling you even played as different people awesome.
Wow! You never cease to amaze me!! Again wonderfully narrated. An old school tale, with modern times! 🙏👌
The tune Come little children really sets the mood for this reading. Nice job.
You sir are a master at your craft . Excellent story 👍👍
I love me some lighthouse horror stories
thanks Alex!
I love the background music it's the song come little children that Sara sings from Hocus pocus and as always a great narration
Another awesome narration and story.....it would make for a very good movie, with u doing the voice-over of the protagonist of course! Another thing, I wish so many little kids didn't fall victim to the dreaded "Ur A Chicken If U Don't......?" When they tried that with me in school, I always told those brats to go try that crap with someone else because kids can be very cruel, and I was already going thru a few different types of abuse at home.
Another amazing narration! Sergeant_Darwin authored a truly frightening story brought to terrifying life. Great work. Thank you both very much!!
I loved this one, very interesting and creative twist on the old mirror ritual stories
Great pick and excellent execution. 👏
Good show 😎🤙
its so awesome that on every new vid, i get to see that sub # going up. i jumped on about the 90 thousand mark. you deserve it. hands down my fav channel.
I appreciate that!
He will pass the 200 k within a month or two. I FEEL it.
Video title idea: There was a reason why we were told to be quiet in the library. It wasn't because people were trying to read.
Keep up the good work by the way! 👍👍
As someone from MA I've never heard of Skeleton Jack. That said it was a good story
I'm starting to think listening to these while playing Elden Ring is a bad idea. Boss fight adrenaline and scary stories... a combination indeed.
I've been waiting for your new upload! I'm so excited
Thanks Etta! This one's a really good story
This was a really great scary story. Thanks Stephen!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😎✌️
This was so well written. I was entirely lost in your narration, LH. Thank you, Sir! 😊

Damn, Lighthouse Horror, i know this one is going to be an OUTSTANDING one!!!
I love the video/work you do for us! Thank you, my friend! 👋😄
thanks Tenzen!
And one day a fully formed and perfect Creepypasta narrator simply was. If it wasn't Lighthouse and such dependable jolts of joy it would almost be - well - creepy. But that's exactly how it happened. Hey Tenzen !! 😀😎✌️👍

Ooh, "Promise" from Silent Hill ♥️
Great touch
Awesome story! Very Lovecraftian.
Moral of the Story: Don't run with knives.
Yeah, and then he immediately went back to town, gathered tools, and turned that sapling into soot, and did so every few years for the rest of his life, and had several apprentices to do so many years after his death
Great story that!! Thanks for the narration...
Me: enters woods at 6:59pm
Demons: hold it, boys. We gotta wait for nightfall
What a great story thank you to writer and for the great narration
That was great!!! You have a fabulous voice for these kind of stories!!
God do i wish you would also post on spotify, really great work
I could listen to you all day! Great story!
It's weird because I remember being maybe 8 yrs old. Having a tree described exactly to a T in my old neighborhood. I remember a girl daring me to touch it. Saying I would have a lifetime of bad luck if I did. I did touch it, that scenario left an imprint on my mind though. So I went back to that neighborhood maybe 10-15 yrs later. I looked for that tree while there and the tree was gone looked like it was never even there.
I've only heard of Bloody Mary, never knew there were other version :0
Excellent narration as always, thanks!
This is really good man
Man Lighthouse you never disappoint...funny story...I listen to you on my way home from work every night. So to start it was a dark and stormy night(lol) and I'm smoking a cigarette and intensely listening you one if your stories. I was enthralled. Somebody was being chased. I tried to throw my my cigarette out the window but I guess it didn't go out. Next thing you know I. smelling burning...it was my damn shirt. I quickly pulled over and put it out and rewinded the part I missed and got right back in the story.
lol thank you for sharing that Novena 🚬
They say smoking will kill you but I'm not sure that's how they meant.
Done it a few times myself
Jack was actually just pissed off people kept calling him "Skeleton Jack", he's very self conscious about his weight!
I look forward to your uploads every day. And you are almost to 200k!
almost there!
I bet 2 months max. ( +/- a week) . 🙃
That was Fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Piano music is "Come Little Children" in the beginning.
From " Hocus Pocus" or however it is written in English - I'd guess with a C , instead of a K in german , but film title translations are sometimes so off....
it's so much more than just weird.
