This was great but from my experience there are a few other factors that help a long distance relationship work that were hinted but not stated explicitly
1. TRAVEL- Both ppl need to be able to travel. Becomes challenging when its only one way
2. FINANCES - both partners need to invest in it because its not cheap
3. SCHEDULING VISITS- i believe the guy needs to visit you first to show hes committed. Many men are low effort these days. Even local ones. When Taiwo mentioned booking a flight within weeks of meeting Toni to London im like hes a real one!
Its not to say things wont work if you cant do these but from personal experience they can really impact the experience.
I agree. I will add direct and honest communication is key. Because that is how trust will be built. Keeping Hi God at the centre of the relationship ❤.

First time listening to Fisayo,I only know her cz of her clothing business but I must confess she has such a beautiful personality and I’d love to see more of her..and oh,that’s a cute man you have on your arm too gurl…..

I have been married for 7years and my husband and I were in a long distance for 18months before we got married and then in a long distance marriage for a year before we moved in together. I can so relate with what the four of them were saying. My heart is bursting with so much love for all 4. I pray and I hope both relationships go ahead to develop to healthy marriages. ❤❤❤❤
I teared up after Toni said Taye challenged her to be a better person cause it's usually the other way round where the woman is the one doing more. As someone who's done more 😢, I pictured being on the receiving end and it was so beautiful, I cried. The way words shift our mindset is so amazing! 🥰 I absolutely loved the light and love between Fisayo and Folabi as well. This was so enlightening. I am relieved to see such real content on dating, especially from Nigerian couples. Lately the scene has been does he cheat question and how much does he have. Super relieved this content exists. And I wish blessings, happiness and fun on both couples.
Lately, I've been immersing myself in a plethora of podcasts centered around relationships. It's fascinating to hear people express their desires and aspirations, constantly proclaiming, "I want this" and "I want that." Out of all the podcasts I've come across, there's one in particular that has captivated me to the point where I won't stray from it. It's made me realize the importance of self-reflection in my quest to find my perfect match. Without putting in the effort to understand myself and grow, I won't be able to attain the relationship I yearn for.
Interestingly, in this episode , a woman candidly admitted that she's still working on herself while being in a relationship. It struck me how fortunate she is to have found someone who is not only willing to wait for her, but also actively supports her personal growth. The conversation between them was truly enlightening and inspiring. It reminded me that a successful relationship requires constant self-improvement and mutual support.
